I have to tell you guys that i got into a panic sell today and lost some more BC and BTC... NOW I'M HOLDING. NO WHALES WON'T PLAY WITH ME LIKE THIS. I MUST CONTROL MY EMOTIONS WHEN THE COIN IS DUMPING. panic selling is not an investment strategy bro I know even though I still have more BTC than the 1st day I got into the BC. I need to calm down and keep holding even when the coin seems to crash like a plane without gas. I am not a good trader, just holding BC a couple of years i think =P Trading is very difficult, I'm a noob at it too, playing a bit as well with trading, but one thing I know is when other panic, it's usually an opportunity to buy, there is a rebound in more than 75% of cases after a panic sell

HOWEVER, please note (as it says in the giant blue box at the top of our page) we have temporarily turned off auto payments to ensure we don't run into any snaffus like this. We're going to audit the system in the morning, and if it seems fine, run everyone's payments all at once under a keen eye. If you don't wish to wait, manual payouts will be on the entire time. Please let us know if you have any further issues!

Looks like this high volume bar (high at 53k, low at 38k) might keep us hostage here for awhile. I'd expect both sides of it to be re-tested eventually in the next couple days, particularly the bottom end at 38k because the drop was accompanied by high volume off the top at 53k (never a bullish sign). Overall it looks like whoever keeps doing these massive coordinated dumps is seriously trying to break the back of BC bulls with this ongoing crap. Massive buy-wall supports below the market price would be wise if we get to rallying once again. JL

You have to spot artificial waves up (pumps) by selling into them and gauging resistance and if you have enough volume you will overpower them and the pump will back off, a bit of panic and you re-buy everything + have some leftover BTC. Rinse and repeat but it takes A LOT of time and "feeling" the market, where who bought, try to guess other exit plans and always be fast. It's a bit easier with BC having such fast transactions, BTC doesn't offer that.

32btc buy order and 36btc sell order. A game will be played.
correction.. 32 + 32 LOL this is fun i was going to watch a movie.. but i think ill sip a couple beers and watch this dogfight instead lol ive got to say this coin has impressed me as im sure it has everyone else. but also id like to commend the community and traders for a job well done with this coin. not sticking to the downtrading spiral that seems to plague other altcoins. and using strategy with the trades. can we get amazon/newegg giftcards with blackcoin yet? it's not bitpay but id be really happy with that ;p

I took the initiative to buy enough WhiteCoins so if they end up becoming a "threat" I will dump enough cheap coins back onto the market that it will become another MintCoin.
Waste of money in my opinion, that coin is already dead. +1. Whitecoins are premined mate. Check out how many coins in the top 15 were premined and given to the developer. They never go far. This guy is going around bashing every POS coin except blackcoin. You are making the blackcoin community look like a bunch of bitches. Look at his previous postsWe need as a community to rise above childish attacks. If someone trolls here, we can deflect trolls, but we don't need to go to other threads bashing coins. It only hurts our imagine and doesn't even matter. BC is #1 anyways in POS, so why bother. Besides, as long as a coin has not premine, or IPO, let them do there thing, more power to them. If they can do a good job them be a good sport about it, not bash them. I do understand the WC premine clone stuff, but lets not focus on it so much. Point out our positives and as long as they stay off our thread, no need to chase them to theirs or engage them.

It's a bit easier with BC having such fast transactions, BTC doesn't offer that. The most important part about trading for profit is detaching yourself emotionally, Just work off your numbers and set a realistic amount to trade and how much you want to make on those trades. If you go in with a safe amount of your holding and decide to sell off a percent of that at say 5% profit and then another chunk at 10% etc you'll be fine. If you jump in with a large chunk of your holding and believe you will make big money selling it off when it reaches a certain point you're either going to get burnt waiting or sell out and not be able to get back in at a price you want.

I've been in the BC for the last 10 days too, I only managed to get from 1.2 BTC to 2.57 (right now). But with the giant pump from last week, I got to almost 12 BTC (lost everything of course, didn't sell at the right time).

This morning, I am very proud of the Blackcoin community. I slept through the price movement but looking back over the last 10 pages it's the same story: Trolls rushing to this thread trying to incite panic whenever the price makes an unexpected move up or down. That shit will not work anymore. We are strong. Remember to check post histories. 98% of the negative posters are clearly invested in the 'competition'. Check post history, have a laugh and carry on.
