You state that Humberto Fontova, someone who lived under the Cuban government, to be somehow unworthy of listening to. Umm...why? His scholarship on Che is extensive.
1. I never stated anything. I clearly stated the quotes were from replies to the article you submitted.
2. I would have to believe that Mr. Fontova's (a Cuban exile) opinion to be highly biased.

Quote
So, in short, your other arguments are nearly as worthless as relying o the Cuban Ministry of Justice. Haahaahaaa -- that's still funny!
I guess because it is not your country then that means their government is wrong.

In closing, it is obvious your mind will not be changed and that is not my intention,
but to not allow others to make up their own mind is the exact thing you seem to be
complaining about. The continued misinformation and extremist belief that all must
believe your individual twisted representation of the truth, and only yours (and that of
a cuban exile and a random amazon reviewer) is fascist to the core.

Just sit back, pour another glass of kool-aid, turn on faux news, put on some
John Lee Hooker (or is that Jon Lee Anderson) and dream about how good
the 'merika dream was when dubya was president. Because if they say
bombing innocents and innocence is ok then it must be. And whatever you do,
do not look behind the curtain.

(and before you get any ideas...I am not a fan of obumba either...the last 2 have
helped wreck the US more than can be repaired for decades to come,
but the beginning of the problem was a century ago)

I am unsure you know what fascist means. You are aware that Che was a huge admirer of fascists aren't you? You are also aware that all fascists are socialists, aren't you? I mean you do have some vague idea who you are defending here don't you?

Isn't calling me a fascist a compliment from your perspective?

Yes, Jon Lee Anderson's biography needn't be read in full (so I will save you some time!) as there are quotes and passages all over this thing called the internet which describes exactly what I wrote. I don't understand what you are trying to get at. (Oh, and yes, I would prefer John Lee Hooker to Jon  Lee Anderson any day!).

You state that Humberto Fontova is highly biased because he is an exile. By that logic the Jews that escaped National Socialism Workers party (NAZI) running Germany were not to believed either? Is that your position? On second thought, I guess I already know your position, so no need to answer that one! Scary.

First you deride Jews by belittling the Holocaust, now you using their harm to argue? Abhorrent.

Yes, finally you are seeing how bad these people are -- it's about time! Abhorrent is a good word for them!

It is apparent your reading comprehension is severely lacking and most likely why you continue to be confused.

I never said believed. I said biased. Also, comparison of Hitler to Che is asinine. This coin's imagery represents
many revolutions including the US. I guess the US should have never revolted..is that what you are saying? because
it sure sounds like it.  So let me get this straight. You say believe only what you say and the very select minority
agreeing with your opinion, that only your country's gub'ment is correct and if someone disagrees then they are
to be lied about and portrayed as an anti-semitic. All the while, not presenting 3rd party sources of information for
an open discussion.

If that is not fascism's core then I don't know what is.

On the wiki page for fascism, Che is mentioned zero times...Castro is mentioned once to show that your opinion is incorrect:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
Contrary to the popular use of the term, Communist states have sometimes been referred to as "fascist", typically as an insult. Marxist interpretations of the term have, for example, been applied in relation to Cuba under Fidel Castro and Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh.[57] Herbert Matthews, of the New York Times asked "Should we now place Stalinist Russia in the same category as Hitlerite Germany? Should we say that she is Fascist?"[58] J. Edgar Hoover wrote extensively of "Red Fascism".[59] Chinese Marxists used the term to denounce the Soviet Union during the Sino-Soviet Split, and likewise, the Soviets used the term to identify Chinese Marxists.[60]

On amazon reviews for the book (4 stars), within the 16 reviews of the front page, There is only one review that mentions murder.
Can you do that math? But I guess they are all left wing reviewers as well. It is a big conspiracy I guess.

And, again, leave out all the quotes where you continue to be proven wrong time and time again.

You sound like a "right wing" war hawk rhino.  And if you didn't know, they are farther left than Kennedy was.
I bet you were for the patriot act too...well, because it said patriot it must be good. Your world policing ideas and mass murder that I am sure you defend are far worse. Where's the yellow cake?

I bet you believe the stories about the poppy growth explosion in Afghanistan being attributed to the US not having a big enough presence there as well.

I don't believe you would know what the US Constitution meant if it was read out loud to you, slowly.

The problem with baby boomers is they can't admit that what they believed and taught their children was for the most part lies and disinformation because they couldn't read between the lines. And certainly would not question their gub'ment...just anyone else's.

Ha! Your defense of fascism with communism is really funny. Hey, we're not fascists, we're communists! yay! Communists are even worse in a strict number of killing of political enemies sort of way. Look, they are both branches of the same disgusting tree. So, if you want to split hairs, go ahead. You know that Che greatly admired fascism and I know it too, so why are you pretending? It's not some secret or anything.

Umm...yellow cake? Are you liberals still on that? Jeez. Poppy growth? Are you still fantasizing about your righteousness in 2005 opposing the big, bad George Bush? Those were the days!

I'm a little confused about your obsession with the baby boomers. They seem to agree with all of your views. How do you think America got so left wing so quickly? They took over the universities, for example,  where Che is now taught as a hero! I would think that you would love the baby boomers. What was your grandpa mean to you or something?  Question the gub'ment, as you put it -- Are you sure that you are talking about the baby boomers? When a Republican is in office at least, they are all questioning the "gubment" all the time. I hate them for the most part myself, but I thought left wing nuts like yourself loved them. Hmm. go figure. Heck, even that left wing loon Obama is (sort of -- technically) a baby boomer!

Che was a communist, and proud of it, he admired fascists and was proud of it. And he thought socialism by force was just peachy keen too! This is not some undercover investigation -- these are facts that are not in dispute by anyone. Why do you try to cover it up? Just be proud to be to be the fascist/communist like the man you so admire --Che Guevara! What's the problem?

I did not defend anything. I merely pointed out you have no idea what you are talking about, as usual. To me, Che is being used as an iconic symbol of revolution, as well as George Washington (but you don't have anything negative to say about him...guess you're not British). Quite a few revolutions have been represented by this coin because this coin was a revolution itself. You wouldn't know that. And your reading comprehension and the unwillingness to educate yourself shines through. I don't believe Che admired fascism, but you seem to differ on any actual evidence to the contrary and stick with researching what your belief is. That is not how to see the whole picture. I can find articles on the internet that leprechauns are real, but that doesn't make it so. It is, also, evident that you are clueless when it comes to political science. Your grand poobhaesque ramblings prove that. What you think is a communism is not correct. Russia, China and Cuba are not communist countries even if they claim to be. The last true communisms were hunter gatherer societies. The US killed off the most recent large grouping when they slaughtered the Native Americans that roamed the plains.  You do also realize that socialism and communism are polar opposite just like republican and democrat are?  Guess not. I bet you think you live in a US democracy where your vote counts too.

Quote
Umm...yellow cake? Are you liberals still on that? Jeez. Poppy growth? Are you still fantasizing about your righteousness in 2005 opposing the big, bad George Bush? Those were the days!

Are you seriously glossing over the fact that known misinformation was presented to US Congress to facilitate a US invasion of Iraq? You do realize that is a war crime to the highest degree and exactly aligned with all the your ramblings stating your opposition.
Hello pot, meet kettle.
Poppy growth, guess you have know idea what that is. Figures.
Righteousness? You are projecting again. I am in the middle looking at all sides. Big bad dubya. I guess you think the patriot act is for your protection. Am I right or am I right?
And just so you know, you are batting a thousand at being wrong. I am not a liberal and never have been. I have been registered many years, neither as a republican nor a democrat.

Quote
I'm a little confused about your obsession with the baby boomers. They seem to agree with all of your views. How do you think America got so left wing so quickly? Hmm. go figure. Heck, even that left wing loon Obama is (sort of -- technically) a baby boomer!

I reference baby boomers for 2 reasons:
1. They ruined the US and still do.
2. You are one or were raised by one and failed to launch.

Projection again. The baby boomers vote in line with your ideology 9 out of 10 times. I have not stated any views other than to look at more sources rather than just look for your preconceived notion. "So left wing so quickly?" Where have you been the last 100 years? Apparently not in the history books. What exactly did dubya question when in office? He did push the patriot act through. The most socialistic piece of legislation yet, more so, than even obumba care.
Left wing nut? Wrong again. The only wingnut in the room is yourself. But the continued accusations and completely speculation is quite entertaining. I will give it a shot at the end.

So he was a communist, socialist and fascist all at the same time. For never actually reading the history of the man, you seem to know it all. All 3 at once huh? Does it even make sense? It sounds more like you are describing the boogie man or the devil.
Now I am trying to cover it up? I posted links to the public for them to make up their own mind which is something you are not so fond of.
And now you are calling me a fascist/communist like the man I so admire? Where in the hell are you getting this? You are smoking crack or are off your medication.

Ok, my turn at the guessing game of who you are and what you believe. (Hint: I bet I am 90% right) (Your results so far 0%)

Mind you, I could have told you all of this with just your first comment on the thread. Verbal cues and idioms tell it all:
(In no particular order and solely my opinion and not to be viewed as derogatory in any way.  Just a case study.)

1. You are an older bitter female baby boomer or are a male raised by primarily your mother or grandmother that was.
2. You have no clue when you are being danced around and verbally pummeled.
3. Because of this fact, you rarely lose an argument.
4. You are white
5. You are racist and claim not to be.
6. You believe the US is a democracy where your vote counts
7. You will vote for whoever the republican ticket chooses because of you vote for someone else it would be "wasting your vote"
8. Jesus is your savior
9. You believe some, not all, psychics have the ability to see the past or future and have successfully located missing children before.
10. You read the horoscopes sometimes and can see how it was right.
11. You are lonely, but will deny it.
12. People don't understand you sometimes because they "just don't get it"
13. Your family has a history of high blood pressure, hypertension and heart attacks, even the females
14. You work a 9-5 that you hate if you are male, if female you do the same or stay at home.
15. You grew up and are located in the midwest or southeast US.
16. You have rarely traveled over 200 miles from your residence.
17. If you have ever traveled overseas, it was either to Great Britian, France or Italy *possible military travel does not count
18. 90-100% of your tax returns have been w-2's
19. You don't know "come here" from "sic em"
20. You have a scar on your left knee from a fall as a child.

I can do this all night, but I will stop there.
Bed time for bonzo.
If this keeps up I will have to start addressing it all as foghorn leghorn..maybe it'll get through a little better then, my boy.

Basically, which you don't seem to understand, is that RevolutionCoin neither represents Che nor the opposite.

You do also realize that socialism and communism are polar opposite...

You seem very concerned that I don't provide "evidence", yet you dismiss Humberto Fontova as some sort of unbiased source not to be trusted. His level of research is both extensive and insightful. How about an anarchist's point of view? (Which, BTW, is much closer to my political views than anything in your hilarious list about me). Part of the reason I wasn't providing "evidence" is that I just assumed that people had heard of Google. Unlike your "leprechauns are real" example, Che's real life, actual events and quotes are all over the internet. As far as I know (correct me if I am wrong), there are very few quotes and events that are documented of leprechauns. Even fewer pictures!

Here's some material from the Anarchist Library (you'll love it as it even uses some quotes of your favorite author -- Jon Lee Anderson -- to prove his point.

Che Guevara was sympathetic to Peronism and imbibed most of its ideas. In many ways he was to remain under the spell of Peronist ideology all his life. In 1955, after he had opted for Stalin, he could also claim that “we have to give Peron all possible support...” (p. 127) [1] When Peron fell he stated: “I will confess with all sincerity that the fall of Peron deeply embittered me...

This affection for Peronism never ceased. Che told Angel Borlenghi (Peron’s former Minister of the Interior) in 1961, that Peron was the most advanced embodiment of political and economic reform in Latin America.

His willingness to sacrifice innumerable lives for the “glorious future” made the beatings and imprisonments administered by the Perons seem gentle by comparison.

By 1955, Che had become a convinced Stalinist, writing, “ I have sworn before a picture of the old and mourned comrade Stalin that I won’t rest until I see these capitalist octopuses annihilated.” (p. 126)

You can read the whole thing right here:

http://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/larry-gambone-saint-che-the-truth-behind-the-legend-of-the-heroic-guerilla-ernesto-che-guevara

I won't even bother with Humberto Fontova, but for others, here is where you can find his most famous book:

http://www.amazon.com/Exposing-Real-Che-Guevara-Idolize/dp/1595230521

Look, one could go on and on with links and books and quotes. Is it really necessary? Che himself wanted a left wing revolution and readily admitted it and fought for it. I really don't understand your resistance to it. It's not like I'm calling him a Republican or something.

As far as communism dying its very last breath with the Native Americans, I don't know what to say. Even if such nonsense were true, that is not how communism is known. You may dismiss Marxism and Stalinism and Maoism as a tea party ideology for all I know, but the world sees them all as forms of communist philosophy. But again, you can call them anything you want -- how about licorice or zebras?

Oh, a sleuth with some clairvoyance mixed in eh? Awesome! Best of all, the list drips with your feeling of superiority. I particularly like the fact that I am being verbally abused, but I am so unaware of that fact that I think I win all of the arguments!

Oh, and that little clairvoyant trick of people not understanding me is great. Yes! -- how did you know?! -- you are so wise!

Also clever, is how I believe in Jesus, horoscopes and psychics. That is a nice bit of sleight of hand.

But, before I delve into your brilliant analysis of me, I must first confess some confusion.

Let's say your entire list is 100% accurate and I am indeed a white guy ('who is a racist but claim not to be"), I work during the daytime hours, get a w-2, grew up in the Midwest, believe in Jesus, am about to die of a heart attack, have never travelled anywhere outside of Europe and I love horoscopes.

How does that change the documented history of Che Guevara?

As you have demonstrated above, I am a Jesus loving republican boob, so it is obvious that I could be missing the brilliance of your insights. But, how do my inadequacies change the history of Che?

Avoid at all costs...this exchange is completely broken

I doubt it ever will. The admins do not even understand how an exchange is suppose to work...it is much much worse than pmto.
