This option is silly to consider for several reasons. Some people do not even understand what a crypto currency is. In the store for the products you also do not pay the crypto currency. The entire money supply is tied to the national financial system. Therefore, the banks in the next 20 years will not disappear anywhere.

I really don't think so and if is ever going to happen, is going to take a long time and one can never tell when it will be because it is nearly impossible ... We need the bank for the circulation of fiat .   even the cashless economy is not even 100% working in most develop countries of the world.. People still uses fiat and I see that trend for long ..    Crypto currency may never be able to achieve that because because it has not been able to do some micro transactions that cahs or fiat is normally associated with that .... ... I really don't see a time when the banking sector will not be needed again

I do not think so
I think traditional banks will still exist even though the cryptocurrency is growing rapidly. and cryptocurrency and banks need each other.

This really what I keep on asking myself since we all know that cryptocurrency dominates the bank as time pass by. I wonder will it result to total collapse of bank industry?

Feel free to drop your comments here.thanks

Banks now are starting to adapt the blockchain and maybe all the technology that behinds all cryptos,i believe that theres nothing to do why banks needed to be eliminated since crypto and banks may help each other to serve all the people in the world.

I think the Bank will not be lost even though the Cryptocurrency continues to evolve. The Bank has become part of a country and the existence of the Bank a lot of people who find it helpful with saving money with very secure. Even the Bank is also growing and also multiply.

Before banks were to sit back and watch this happen they would probably buy out large chucks of the industry. Power is money

In my opinion, that won't happen at all, because believe me we won't want it. Crypto is a p2p transaction that will still need a third party.
I think we will not trust each other to transact without a marketplace. So I think it's impossible for a bank to not survive.

The central bank is representing the money or the government of that country, if the crypto make the bank gone, then it is also like breaking a government. Heads of states will not let crypto do that

Banks are an important part of every country's financial system. I don't think cryptocurrencies can make Banks disappear, people are using cash more now. Cryptocurrencies cannot yet replace fiat currencies and become the dominant means of payment.

I don't think they will disappear but I don't see banks in their current form surviving. Theirown greed will see some of them fail. The owns that accept the rise of crypto and adopt early will survive but the others will go the way of the dinosaurs.

I will be glad if it happens and cryptocurrency completely destroy banks. But I don't think that's gonna happen. Most likely we will see the connection of banks and blockchain technology. If the banks become decentralized then it will be our victory over the monopolists. In my opinion, this is the most realistic scenario.

I do not fully agree with this idea. banks will always be in our lives. but crypto currencies will reduce the duties of the banks. crypto will be universal in the coming years.

The banking institutions will not give power that easily. While I believe in crypto as a way of bypassing banks, it might take several more years, decades even before crypto becomes at par with banks fiat.

The possibility of this move takes place but I think that banks will just change their speciality and their work will not be closed, crypto is very universal.

Cryptocurrency is actually gaining ground day by day, but it can not really carpet the banks because no matter what happened one will always need fiat currency and banks are the ones to do the needful.

Of course no. Banks have a big quantity of clients who feel satisfaction about banking services. And banks could sell services associated with blockchain which will be more convenient for the most of consumers.

It could happen in countries that legalize digital money such as crypto. But for the collapse of the bank the process was very long, it is possible that all of that was impossible. Because banks are the most important thing from a country to manage their finances.

I believe that it's highly unlikely that banks will disappear because of crypto. Eventhough crypto is a huge threat for banks, I think they will still exist but will only be fewer.

It's possible but not soon. Since the Crypto currency is not yet ready to accept as many people, the Crypto currency has to process a lot of transactions in a short time now it is not possible. But they are working on it, maybe in the future we will see it.

how did it happen ? I can't imagine banking will be replaced by cryptocurrency. I don't think that will happen, because the fact that paper currency will always be used and there is always a center that controls it is the function of the bank. and if even if the cryptocurrency will be the future of the currency, I think each country will issue crypto.

As a cryptoenthusiast, I believe in this. But in practice this is hardly permissible, but they can adapt it for total control.
