The bank and cryptocurrency are opponents. The cryptocurrency in the future will strongly disturb a banking system. The cryptocurrency will win.

Banks cannot be lost because of cryptocurrency, banks are more secure as a place to save money, and are regulated by the government. The bank will be much bigger and will not be lost.

The fact that both of them have quite the opposite nature is making it kinda true that both are opponents or competition to each other.
However, we'll need to wait and see in the future which will win.
If cryptocurrency could keep up and still offering its "quirks" then maybe there's a slight chance.

Cryptocurrencies will certainly change the world, but I believe they will not be able to make banks disappear. I think banks will cooperate with such blockchain projects as ripple, or develop their own blockchain, the world will change, but not in such a cardinal way.

This really what I keep on asking myself since we all know that cryptocurrency dominates the bank as time pass by. I wonder will it result to total collapse of bank industry?

Feel free to drop your comments here.thanks

Cryptocurrency can not make banks disappear because it is too unstable and people use it only as an investment. I think that the cryptocurrency will most likely be introduced into the banking system.

I think it will be possible only after a couple of years. for me, banks are something that has been around for several hundred years. and I think that this new technology will not be able to replace the banks so quickly

Who seriously thinks crypto can make banks disappear? Before that ever happens, banks will make cryptocurrency disappear.

More likely, banks will embrace crypto, go compliant, and put all of the law breakers out of business. They probably view it as something to be exploited, not feared.

I would rather believe that banks will trade cryptocurrencies than that banks will disappear because of them, as the banking system is one of the most durable and stable in the world.

The banking system will not disappear. There can be some changes in it but it will work. Even when the cryptocurrencies become  extremely popular, people will still trust traditional banks and use them.

I hope that banks still integrate cryptocurrencies and this will be a normal situation and everyone will be able to buy cryptocurrencies at will and there will be no problems. People should still have freedom.

No, I don't think the banks will disappear because of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency continues to grow. And I think that cryptocurrency in the future will cause big changes in the world financial system. And I think they will accept cryptocurrency by changing their systems in banks. That's why I think banks will not disappear but just will make changes to their systems in the future.

On the work of the entire banking system can be concluded: this structure, in fact, is an unnecessary third party in the transaction between people and only complicates all financial transactions.Even if banks release their cryptocurrencies, I don't think they will last long. Most will leave the market. Can only stay in the state, for transactions between countries, but in a new form.

Once banks get involved with crypto, they (the crypto) will have several characteristics.

1. They will be backed by something of value. Most likely dollar denominated financial instruments such as US bonds and Treasuries.

2. They will be regulated by the SEC and banking regulators who will make sure each and every crypto and asset are verified and accounted      for (this alone will put 99.9% of all cryptocurrencies out of business)

3. They will make transactions swift, secure, and less expensive than the alternatives now. (they will be forced to by competition)

4. They will entail a certain amount of centralization, but that is the cost of doing business the right way.

Sorry, but how many cryptocurrencies can satisfy all of this? They exist but are so rare as to be nearly non-existent. And no, Bitcoin will not be one of them, nor Eth, nor XLP, nor just about any other "hodl" coins today.

The future belongs to the compliant, technologically advanced, stablecoins. https://www.startengine.com/monetran-llc

In fact, the cryptocurrency does not dominate the banks and is not going to do this, and indeed it does not have such an opportunity.
Banks have nothing to fear cryptocurrency. It has virtually no effect on their activities. They perform a lot of their specific tasks and functions and will continue to do so. To a large extent, banks serve the country's economy and government structures, and therefore the banking system will be fully protected by the state.

Banks will not disappear, but will be transformed in "Crypto Banks".
Where clients can securely store their crypto assets without fear of losing keys or hacking.

Everything is changing and it is quite possible, but in the distant future, since the cryptocurrency is only beginning to develop and it will take a long time before it is recognized worldwide.
