Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency?

I unequivocally state that with the advent of cryptocurrency, banks will not disappear anywhere and will continue to exist in their usual mode. State banks are actually part of the state itself, they participate in the implementation of various government programs and serve the financial side of government. Therefore, as long as there are different states, there will be banks.

A clear and competent answer to the question. Cryptocurrency can become part of financial transactions in banks, but it is simply impossible to replace the functionality of the banks themselves, it is enough to understand what banks are doing and everything will become clear

Crypto didnt said that they will replace banks  . its just people are too genius enough to see the posibility that a bank could dissapear due to the usefulness of cryptos .  i agree on you mate , banks do have its own unique usage and that cant simply copy by any crypto not even eth and bitcoin  .  crypto can dissapear but banks not   .

People are thinking if the crypto bring the new design of the currency and they have been betting on that thing. Blockchain was using peer to peer system that can eliminate 3rd party. They are seeing this as an opportunity to replace bank and its fiat money.

No I don't think so. Bank will always be there because its already been an essential part of the society. Besides, its not the intention of crypto to replace banks rather crypto serves as an option. It might even reinforce the banks in the future.

I don't think the bank will ever disappear, maybe the bank will adopt an economic system that uses blockchain technology or crypto currency that uses technological advancements and times.

If you are asking the time we have it now, I doubt it that bank will disappear at this moment.
Because, cryptocurrency is not that strong although it is already popular worldwide and lots of merchants and investors
believed in it, but still not enough to say that banks will be gone in the future.

I think there is no reason for banks to disappear against crypto, because crypto is more of an investment made by several people, not a means to save their money. so banks will still be useful for saving money for everyone.

Same here. Banks are the institutions run by the government and are regulated by the government as well. So, the prospect that the demand for fiat will decrease in future is not something that will threat the existence of banks but on the other hand, banks have to update and upgrade their systems as well because no matter how hard they try to regulate the system, private sector can any time disrupt the banking system.

Banks was created during the 1600s and it is really helpful to keep all of your savings, but i think there are chances that banks may disappeared because many people are now used to online banking. And cryptocurrency can also cause banks to disappeared because a lot of people are now into virtual currency.

There is a chance that banks, at least the brick and mortar ones, may disappear if cryptocurrency adoptions goes fully mainstream and all transactions become cashless. May take a decade or so.

I think they will cooperate. I have read an article not so long time ago about Ripple. A lot of asian banks are going to start using this crypto currency for daily transactions by 2025 and I think it would give a great push to the market.

Governments will support banks. Another thing more banks were with plans to create their own cryptocurrency for the usage on transactions. This will let the banking firms adopt the technology behind cryptocurrency, but won't get disappeared. As said governments support banks and will not let it go down.

We still need banks even if cryptocurrency becomes widely adopted, banks have been here for hundreds of years and there are transactions that can be done through banking, they can work together or co exist but I doubt if banks will ever banish in our system.

I don't really think so, irrespective of how good and appealing digital currency might look banks will never collapse. Banks have to just try to be dynamic a bit and that is all, incorporating most of their new technology could help sustain them.
