Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency offers an alternative place for those who are not satisfied with traditional financial and banking system. If everyone uses crypto then it would mean that they are not satisfied and banks will loose their clients and die.

I think that banks are unlikely to disappear. Most likely, the banking system will be able to integrate into the world of cryptocurrencies and they will complement each other.

There is no possibility for the cryptocurrency to kill the Banks era! Even Banks are in far better position than cryptocurrency and we need both of them in our life. People are used to with banks but many people left the crypto industry because of the unbearable volatility! So, There is no chance for banks to disappear because of the crypto!

I think it will exist together. The bank has many advantages over cryptocurrencies, which have existed for a long time and have a huge system, most people still save money and use bank services because of their safety. If later accepted cryptocurrencies can banks also develop their own cryptocurrencies.

Banks is a huge structure that sucks large amounts of money from its depositors and mortgage holders. These people just leave them, you understand that this is a huge loss for the entire banking sector. Therefore, I think that cryptocurrency is a real problem for banks.

The fact that people invest in cryptocurrency, does not mean that they refuse the services of banks, the outflow of customers due to cryptocurrency banks just do not feel, especially after 2018

They are looking for something that can give them all a lot of profits at the same time. not all of them are ignoring bank but most of them are using it and almost all have the bank accounts.

I don't think so, the bank is controlled by the government so I don't think it will ever cease to exist. Also, I believe with blockchain ING mainstream, the banks might take advantage of what it is offering.

The banks are not gonna disappear, but the number of people who patronize their system will rather reduce. Cryptocurrency has a long way to go in order to replace physical fiat. Till then, banks will be in use. If the world stop using physical fiat, then banks will seize to be in existence.

They both appeal to different set of people and serve different purpose and one cannot exist without the other. So I don't see the possibility of banks ceasing to exist in the future because of cryptocurrency.

I think they will make something together, like Ripple and Asian banks. I cannot imagine that such structure as banking sector will simply disappear. They will integrate transactions with crypto currencies and not only with Ripple.

To correct the notion that banks will disappear, the won't. They will likely be remodeled in a way that will work with the growing cryptocurrency trend. Gateways will probably be opened in banks to exchange/trade certain crypto coins

I think bank would stay no matter how crypto dominates the world . I guess time would come that there would be a what they called a Crypto Banks.

No, not really. It wouldn't happen because i believe that the banks owners are quite clever and they would find a way to live with the cryptocurrency. Maybe they haven't find it yet but i believe that banks will always live in anyways. In near future we will be able to see the blockchain will co-operate with banks.

Cryptocurrency will not replace banks banks will be here till the end of times. Not everyone is comfortable using crypto daily not everyone is interested in cryptocurrencies. The govt wo t support it so it wo t replace banks.

I think the bank has existed for hundreds of years, and its status cannot be replaced in traditional trade.

I think bank will still go on but i think they will adopt to crypto may be also day will make their own coins

it will never happen and cannot be linked to the crypto world, because we know that bank one of the safest assets in the real world is different from the digital world which is very risky. I think the bank will always be there anytime and crypto will always be needed depending on the needs of each user.

Bank never despair because of cryptocurrency but the cryptocurrencies will take a big chunk of banks money in the near future
when this cryptocurrency comes under regulations and its acceptance grow.

I think banks will find solutions to reach and use blockchain technology to better serve customers instead of giving up. Anyway, the service fee of banks is quite cheap and it's still familiar to everyone.
Blockchain technology and wallet systems are complex and it may not make many people understand how to operate and not create trust from them.
So I think blockchain technology is still very difficult to scale because it is very complicated.
