I started working from the bottom of the list and going up the list, covering so far the ANNs from 77 to 66. But even after spam is deleted, other new spam posts appear... it's a sort of Sisyphus work. If anyone want to join in this huge workload, feel free to do so.

You are doing a great job there despite looking like a Sisyphus work more often  than not. Mods delete 15-20 freshly written spam posts and next day similar amount of posts show up again, looking lika a whack a mole game. But ocassionally after enough tagging and reporting spammers give up, or those that hire them stop paying as they see its not working since posts are constantly deleted and  topic contained in 1-2 pages since there is no real interest.

As you said in that other topic, maybe we should coordinate our efforts so we don't waste time with double reporting as that's probably happens sometimes.

Yes, you are right in everything you said, Rikafip. Sometimes looks like work in vain... but in the end you have also the satisfaction that you did what was right to do. I still feel though that more hands are needed... Vitor Services look like doing lots of efforts for spam and they look like they also have huge man power. We need more people involved in this... Maybe find the very source of Vitor or have more members involved in reporting...

And yes, we need a coordinated effort, that's why I always say which topic I start cleaning or in what order... For all spam busters interested, feel free to involve also in Rikafip's huge ANN bumping thread. There are 76 campaigns listed there with ANN bumping and after you clean one you start with another and next day you see that the previous cleaned one is spammed again... It's hard. I have days when I report 1000 posts... days when I report a few hundreds... but more man power is needed, that's for sure.

Weird part about their previous ANN is that it was just renamed thread of another older project from 2018, Crypt-ON. I managed to archive before it was nuked https://archive.fo/yfats. Here is also their old bounty thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036843.0

Does anyone know anything more about it, as doesn't make much sense imho to rename an old project ANN when you want to start new one, other than appearing more legit as they had 130 pages of mostly spam as they obviously had  sock puppet accounts working there.

For some reason MEOW COIN thread is still there, and still being spammed by TRX adresses while my report is unhandled. Obvious cases like this are usually sorted very fast, but maybe I'm missing something here. Anyway, this is how all 5 pages of that thread look like. Nothing but spam

I was going to say that same thing, and I can't really understand it. Apart from reporting the OP, maybe we could also individually report each address-only post and see if we get lucky

It's simple really, and it happens occasionally; mod marked it good and forgot to delete. It happens, as everything is done manually, and if you are mod and deleting hundreds of posts/topics in a row, "mistake" is bound to happen.

Looool true! My report looks the same. Being serious now, I think sometimes it takes a while until a good report (flagged as good) gets action done towards it (either it means a post gets deleted or a topic gets locked). Sometimes nothing happens towards the good reports, but other things happen toward the author. I remember I had a few hundreds of good reports made for a guy (I hope I remember this well as I can't verify in my report history anymore, as more than 30 days passed and the reports are gone) but they were never deleted. However, the author got banned. So maybe MeowCoinCommunity got banned? Or his account is in course of being banned...? Just wait a few days prior making the new report, this is what I would recommend. Not hurry with it as it may get flagged as bad this time, if it's made prior the action per se is taken for the previous report.

Indeed, it's also possible that the mod forgot to delete / lock the topic, but we can't know if it's that or if it takes a while for seeing the action taken against the topic / author.

Hmmmmm I can't really tell how SMF works, but back when I used to do some mod work in another forum, the system would only let you mark the reports as good after you had taken any action. But again, I have never worked with SMF

AFAIK bans are instant (nuked if new accounts), and BPIP is not showing any of those on the profile

That could have happened because hundreds of posts of the same author were deleted, so mods decided it's time for retirement. From my experience in similar cases, OP of such threads are usually not banned. Just to be sure I checked some previous cases and none of them are banned, but maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Well, I have just checked and the second report got also marked as "good", but the thread is still there. I'm going to assume that moving it to the Archival was something similar to sending the thread to the graveyard; altough I don't completely agree as I would have just nuked the thread and user; but then again, I'm no mod, just a humble reporter

I was randomly checking the Scam Accusation board and before going on a patrol streak I read the following thread.

On one of the latest replies, I read that they had started some sort of Airdrop program, but the post had been deleted (original here)

I'm posting this here to use as a reference when reporting the post; either for plagiarism or multiposting (it's most likely the same person using multiple accounts).

Wouldn't it be much easier to simply lock or delete the thread instead deleting hundreds of posts when OP of that ANN is breaking forum rules on purpose as he didn't stop when warned by @masulum that what he is doing is wrong?
