It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

And how much heat is generated by these little miners? lets say 10 of these units compared to one gpu rig arround 3-3.5 mh/s. i have an office where I dont have to pay electricity but at night the airco goes on night mode and is cooling really crappy. So the heating is going to be a problem for me in the summer. Could anyone share his experience with me? Thanks

Thanks they didnt answer any question about EU, so forget haha I thing, after few months will this crap same as usb errupters at this time - just unusable its about 5 chips/1 unit, so I believe that for ex. boards with 50 chips will be availalble in short time, and so on...like btc asics better wait until they will be for 100 bucks for one unit

I have 4 on the way from Zoomhash which are being shipped to the Netherlands, I ordered them last week and will post as soon as I receive them. The problem with shipping to Europe is customs I can let you know about the import costs and taxes aswell if you want to know.

So the heating is going to be a problem for me in the summer. Could anyone share his experience with me? Thanks For a batch of 10 miners configured "fan side down" style with the fans 4" off the ground. Hashing set at 800Mhz Dual mining mode can get a little warm to the touch on the heat sink's flat bottom. The fans are necessary and during the summer, a fan to circulate the air will be necessary. Scrypt mining heat generation is so little, you don't even need the heat sinks or the fans that come on them. Just bunch them together and put a $15 fan to move air across them. Currently dual mining in a room with the ambient temp of 75° F (24° C) and the hottest heat sink is 97° F (36° C) because it's also getting the warm air from the power supply. All the rest are 90° F (32° C). After 10 minutes of a fan blowing across them the temp dropped 5° F for all of them. So a quick assumption is with adequate airflow and a small fan, you can dual mine with a temp gain of 10° F over ambient temp. 80°F in the room means a 90°F miner.

If it's the Gridseed miner and has the markings, it should be closely the same. Plug the power into the miners. Plug the miners into the USB HUB. Plug the HUB into the Controller. Plug the controller into your network. Power on the Miners. Power up the USB HUB. Power up the Controller. Wait a few seconds and the controller will have an IP address. Log into the controller with a web browser using the IP of the controller (example: 192.168.2.5) Your network will be different. The controller should be in English and Mandarin (Chinese language) and the main page will refresh every 10 seconds (you can see by the timer). In the upper right corner of the page is the SETTINGS option. That is where you add the settings for the miners in SHA256 (BTC) and Scrypt (LTC). I would assume you can just leave the BTC lines blank (empty) and the controller should bypass the SHA256 hashing. You can tell if it does by the power usage and the amount of heat the units generate.

It doesnt allow you to leave the BTC pool blank, and no enable/disable like the lightningasic software, this is what I have for settings now im guessing i just need to change dual to...something but dont know what BTC配置 [BTC Setting] 矿池 [Pool] stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 矿工 [Worker Name] xxxx 密码 [Worker Password] xxxxx 参数 [Other Args] 命令行拼接 [Command String] -o stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -xxxx -p xxxx --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1
LTC配置 [LTC Setting] 矿池 [Pool] stratum+tcp://stratum.netcodepool.org:3333 矿工 [Worker] xxxx 密码 [Worker Password] xxxx 参数 [Other Args] --freq=850 --dual --btc=0 --exit=10 命令行拼接 [Command String] -o stratum+tcp://stratum.netcodepool.org:3333 -xxxx -p xxxx --freq=850 --dual --btc=0 --exit=10

Got my 60 miners today from Zoomhash. A little disappointed at how long it took for them to arrive, but it was a large order and overall not too long considering they came from China. Here are some pics of my new setup: Unfortunately I only received 40 USB cables and barrel connectors so I have 20 units on standby and one of the units has an odd power connector slot which I cant fit a barrel connector into. The metal rod is really thick compared to other units. I sent Zoomhash a PM about my sorrows so hopefully he takes care of me. I am thinking about buying another 100 units depending on how fast my issues get resolved

What usb hub is that? Its the Manhattan 28 port hub. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0074024XU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1A little pricey but it seems to be working pretty well. It has an on/off switch for each port which has been helpful since cgminer support seems weak right now for these units. If i start CGMiner with all my units on, CGMiner crashes. But if i start CGMiner with all the USB ports shut off, then turn them on one at a time, CGMiner will pick them up as i turn them on. I have 40 miners running on one Windows laptop right now.

Does it work real well? I've been getting the 10 port right now.

Yeah so far I have had no issues with them. Using all 28 ports on one of them. No troubles with getting anything to detect in Windows. I can't really comment on durability though since I have only been using them for about 6 hours now.

How long does it take to ship? I live here in the USA, and was thinking about buying one or two of those $249 ones on their website that are ready to ship right now.

They are usually good about shipping. Usually leaves the day they say its going to leave If not a day latter.I am on the east coast us. I usually get mine within 2 days of shipping.
