I invest on a project that solve real problems. For example,i like investing on exchange project ,especially if  the exchange is using its token for voting activities and transaction fees .I also invest on exchange project because they pair its token with coins/tokens that have liqudity on the crypto market. This makes every good coin coming to the exchange to partner with the exchange token, and this result in high demand for the exchange token.
I also like investing on projects that develop security decentralized applications because the more people using the applications, the more the demand for that token, especially if the token is linked to the technology behind the security application.
I also invest on projects managed by experience team that have proven themselves in their areas of specialization .
I invest on projects managed by experience team because they will use their experience they have gotten for so many years to bring a lot of positive change on the projects they want to manage.I said this because i find out some developers are clueless, meaning they raise millions of dollars ,but they have no blue print on what to do with the fund.
However, if the team leaders create  10 billion token, and only 1 billion is in circulation i will invest on the project if the founders are not the owners of the  70% of the token.
I take this decision to avoid the developers dumping huge amount of tokens on its investors.

The projects which are already on coinmarketcap can be good investment opportunity and other then that, search for the development team and check their portfolio and you'll realize how good the project is or is it not good enough for investment.

A project with big following is one of the first thing I consider before investing. If people are not participating in a project, what good is such project. It is people that will test the project product and services, it is the people that will contribute to growth and development of the project!

Ethereum has got millions of followers. I have been holding ETH for long time, and I am waiting for the time when it starts to grow. I also trust Stellar, IOTA, TRON, and EOS. These are cool altcoins.

I wonder what kind of projects you'd like to invest. some projects are not so popular, but they do are good projects, and would have a bright future.
The potential projects that I want to invest are the projects that provide payment services. It is very practical and bring a product to people. They can earn money from the service and can pay dividends to us quarterly. That's one thing I like so much. I always want to get the quarterly dividend to have a stable income.

I would like to invest in solid projects which has at least an MVP before their ICO. Also STOs as there will always be dividend to be shared provided the projects makes returns.

I always like to invest in those projects which have their proper plan ready and they have a product on which that project is based on. I have invested in some of these projects and they are doing good. Because projects without products are not worth to invest in this type of market. Because most of the coins are bleeding which have no solid concept.

If I choose to invest, I prefer to choose masternode, maybe I think masternode is more profitable than ICO. Because I see many ICO projects now that are really bad for everyone, and they are not as expected in the future.
It's not profitable if you consider to become a masternode need a lot of money. But at least we can still earn a few bucks from our masternode rather than ICO. If you can choose the best one and then you can get more than tripled for your money through an ico. Remember a lot of millionaires started invested small amount in ico.

Well if this is true then icos now should be booming? But what really happening now is contrary to your belief. ICOs had failing, some had paused their ico and some extend it just to even reach the softcap. Only few that were good succeed but it still isn't enough to conclude that it can give us triple profit or even double. Not to mentiom the price went it get listed on exchange sites.

It's sad but we need to deal with it and just be smart on your investment.

I did not set any such plan where to invest. It totally depends on the project that comes up. If it promises good return I am there to invest.

maybe those who already have a top 50 ranking in CMC can have good potential, if we choose several types of coins there, and surely that the coin we choose has a large volume in many famous markets

To find out whether a project is good or not, I usually do a series of analysis processes. Obviously, I'm not going to follow the euphoria of someone talking about a project without me doing my own analysis. I usually do SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunity, and threat). Through this analysis, I can clearly know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities for success, and threats faced by the project. I can do this SWOT analysis after I read the whitepaper from the project in detail and depth. I also do not forget to look at the roadmap of the project. This roadmap is useful for measuring how mature the project planning is. I will also see how to follow up if the project's objectives have been achieved, whether the coins offered by the project will continue or stop as the project completes. Finally, I will see whether the project softcap and hardcap have been reached. Maybe that's a little that I can share with all my friends before I invest.

In case someday I will have enough money I will surely invest in the top rank crypto with great performance and have enough community to maintain the project alive. The realistic approach is much better than imagination and dreams. With trusted people who manage the project is the beat to invest.

Don't you think that most of the projects now just look perfect? Most of them have become scams, so we should not rely solely on appearance to judge the quality of the project!

Before I put my hard earned bitcoin down, I want to see a project with capable hands, project that will add value to cryptocurrency ecosystem and will deliver on every roadmap. I want a project that get to exchange on record time not given excuse of bear market!

I am investing only in projects in that I trust. I always make a good investigation and checking every aspect of an ICO. I am not taking part in many projects, maybe 3-4 within several months, but they are always giving profit.

Among other things, you need to look at the team experience, technology being used and more importantly having a working product in place like Sylo and Kambria for example.

Did you guys know that back in August this year only 36 of Top 100 Cryptos had a working product? don't believe me? see for yourself:

https://cryptovest.com/news/only-36-of-top-100-cryptos-have-working-product---research/

Yep, this is insane, I know!
