I think it's difficult for make that happen. Because if you mine with smartphone how to cooled it? if the computer has a fan and water cooling. As far i know computer have better performance then laptop. And computer must have some componets to mining. If used smartphone, How much smartphone you will needed?

The best thing to mine bitcoin is with personal computer with high spec, not with smartphone. Our smartphone designed for communication and i think its not suitable for mining bitcoin.
smartphone hardware spesification is not strong enough for mining bitcoin.it only used to communication function.and also in my opinion mining is need supercomputer ,smartphone didnt have this feature.

As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
Smartphones work like computers but have limited capabilities. They are made in such a way that they appear as snappy and mobile as possible, hence do not have the high RAMS, ROMS and memory sizes of an actual computer.
Bitcoin mining needs sophisticated machinery (ASICs)aside the normal computer in order to mine the coins.

I think that's nearly impossible as bitcoin mining needs a great computing power and the smartphones with their limited storage and capacities can't be able to do this kind of thing.

Mining crypto-coins with smartphones makes no economic sense. Why reduce the lifespan of your smartphone which may cost more than $1,000, in return for just $0.0001 worth of Bitcoins? If you are holding large amounts of coins such as Dash, NEO, Pivx or Stratis, then PoS mining can be attempted in the smartphones. But Bitcoin mining is an entirely different thing.

very interesting if the smartphone is used for mining, but certainly requires very high specifications more than computers, after all the use of smartphones is not for mining

I've read a lot of bounty campaigns have been preoliferating the use of smart phones in casual conversations. I think all are in smartphones right now, downloadable apps, seemingly interested groups of bounties and how to get invested money medium-application.

I think, Bitcoin mining is very competitive and if we talk about cell phones, the CPU with processing power is limited to maybe 2-8 GHz which is a small percentage of the Bitcoin network. Even if you join several pools, your processing power can be ignored.

You are right, with the current specifications of mobile phones now I don't think it can mine a bitcoin and it will surely not profitable to use it. The difficulty of every blocks is very hard now.

From what I know Bitcoin mining requires a lot when it comes to the computer that does it, so if we are talking of this much power on a mobile device or a smartphone, I can say that that is too much, but then again we know our technology now are making things possible so I think if there would be a demand for that, it will happen.
I don't think it can be happen since smart phones has minimum item in it. Low Ram with lowest processor can burn the phone. We all are aware that bitcoin mining use 100% usage of process and it can eat the ram speed.

It won't happen, it impossible. to mining, it will cost you a lot of power and no phone can bearable. Smartphone as know as digital wallet, you can simply download an app and that's how you make it as your wallet. that all you can do with your phone.

Smartphone mining has no value. The difference between mobile phones and computers is too big to bear the heavy responsibility of mining. The biggest use of a smartphone is to pay.

That can happen but it takes a long time. And I think the smartphone is not configured enough to handle a string of algorithms.

for me it's really possible, now there's a smart phone that's the best of the designed for a crypto like htc exodo that's best and it's something comfortable with all the steps taken by a company it uses as telecommunications of people and will not be handled out, and other names will follow HTC and a mobile specialist should have a mobile phone about a bitcoin mining .

it was a very long time ago, even I heard that Samsung itself would issue a mining tool and it was still a computer type. maybe for a smartphone is not the right tool for mining because the purpose of the smartphone itself is to make it easier for us in various ways, try to imagine if a smartphone is only used for minin and cannot be done for communication, then it can no longer be said as a smartphone

Bitcoin mining can only be done through computers with high graphics cards, bitcoin mining on smartphones is not possible. Some time ago, I have read that there are smartphones that have the potential to produce crypto currencies and that too, I think it will take a long time. Some apps that offer bitcoin mining on cellphones must use the cryptonote algorithm, one of the cryptocurrencies (not bitcoin), which is then converted into bitcoin.

Well i strongly agreed with some members here in the thread that smartphones could not be used as a mining for bitcoin and other crypto because smartphones are intended for social uses like communications and broadcasting live videos using its cameras. So we should not use smartphones for mining instead we have to focus on its features and how it will be going to use.

in my opinion for smartphones it is not possible to use cyrptocurrency to mine because smartphones are not designed to mine cryptocurrency, I think the PC is still better and stronger for cryptocurrency mining

Smart Phones will never be used for any mining adventures, because it will be not profitable as lot of improvements are made in mining sectors, people has now high tech mining equipment, so this is not going to happen.

Exactly you got the point. it was good to do with mobile phone when the block difficulty was too low. but in current scenioro you have to wait for 100 years to mine a block of bitcoin from mobile phone.
