Never, they are took weak and they have a pretty bad battery life.
For crypto mining, strong systems with highly sustainable environment and strength must be ensured. If the system which is running over low batteries and low processor power couldn’t let you reach targets. Better for miner to chose good systems so that mining can be endorsed with powerful backups and strengths. Try avoiding low and weak systems.

As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
I think smartphones aren't designed to do bitcoin mining, the device won't support it at all. and I think that will only destroy smart...

The way I’m seeing it, if any of these smartphones, Android and IOS included, tries to mine Bitcoin they might hurt blow up. Even computer can’t even mine Bitcoin alone, you have to connect it to what we call Bitcoin miners just like the ASIC Miner and if you are into mining you already know that it consumes heavy amount of power. So Smartphones can never be used in mining Bitcoin, if you want to mine Bitcoin you should get the necessary equipment.

Currently, there is some software that developers have provided to users. The coin they use smartphones to exploit the coin that is not or extremely low value. Allowing the phone to be a cryptos exploit will cause the phone to breakfast.

I don't think that far, because the devices used for mining require high-specification processors, and also require a lot of power. I think this is difficult to happen

Smart phones obviously aren't powerful enough to mine Bitcoin unless a mobile manufacturer actually builds a small mining chip into one but then you'd still not really be able to mine anything

I don't think smartphones can ever be involved in Bitcoin mining because mining is not integrated and must be done separately by a professional mining agency. This is the future trend. Perhaps the government can control the mining machine.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to have my cryptocurrency stored on my smartphone and for me is very interesting which company will be the first to ask you that, Samsung or Apple, or even somebody else?

I dont know if i will make sense. I don't believe that there will be a time for smartphone to mine cryptocurrency but it could be integrated in the blockchain as a block or something similar to confirm the information stored in the chain. There are certain shitcoins that can be mine out by a smartphone but well as expected those kind of mining wont really be worthy not only just wasting up your time and it isn't feasible then you are also putting up your phone into the risk on making it as an oven toaster because of such mining process. For now mining crypto would only requires graphics card and asic ones.

Mining is a hard matter. For running mining to need huge powerful computer and need a experience man. We know mobile phone isn't as powerful as like a computer. If anyone try mining to mobile, so his mobile will gone distroy. For mining must be need a powerful hardwar computer. Never possible to used a mobile phone for mining.

I don't think that we will see something like that in the future. Smartphone can not have stronger processor than desktop, phones have batteries, you need to recharge it. I don't see it as a practical solution for Bitcoin mining and I don't think that smartphone companies would like to deal with it.
And even if companies could do that and could create a smartphone capable of mining bitcoin, it will still be more expensive than a dedicated unit so not one will buy it, there is no market for such technology and it is close to impossible to create it, so people need to think of more practical ideas instead of day dreaming with the impossible.

I believe that the advance technology that will enable smartphone to be use for bitcoin mining will soon arrive as developer are already working on that aspects as it will enable more flexible and easy going ecosystem and mining experience because the use of smartphone for mining will increase the number of miners and also help the blockchain network.

Although, it is very obvious presently that mining bitcoin with smart phone is like going to mission of no return. This is due to the technicality i.e processors and power consumption rate are way too high for smartphone presently. However, never say never, as the world is going digital, I won't be so surprise seeing a mobile smartphone mining bitcoin effectively and efficiently.

It is a great possibility that smartphones can be as powerful as the cpu used in bitcoin mining today. With our technology at hand, we can expect that to happen. But, not for the next 5 years.
Now, by the time smartphones will be powerful enough, there might be no bitcoin mining anymore. That is also a probability.

Smartphone for bitcoin mining? you are just destroying your phone.
Smartphone as digital wallet, you can simply download an app / wallet and that's how you make it as your wallet.
You never know! With the help of nano technology we may be able to achieve smaller chips that produces as much power as a full sized mining rigs in future. I mean that is not the reality now but it may become in future. If you were 80's kid, did you ever think that you can carry a computer in your pocket? Because what computer we have seen that time was Pentium one and it required an air conditioned room to run that. Nano technology achieved that impossible and now we carry a smart phone inside our pocket. So keep your hope high as we don't know where the technological achievements can take us! but it still a long way, i have seen that in china there are a bitcoin mine as big as a room just for computers, this will need time to shrink a room sized computer into a hand sized smartphone

I can't say that smartphones will ever be a miner since we can just stick to what we are using right now. ASIC means application-specific integrated circuit, and it is designed for a certain or special application and it's example in our case particularly is mining. Making a phone a miner also means making it an ASIC, I don't know about that. The smartphone industry is leaning to the performance, mostly gaming performance, great cameras and special functions so I don't think that will be necessary.

Currently there is software on android for digging Bitcoin but it will not work. The digging performance of its bitcoin is very low. Instead of buying a $ 1k digger for Bitcoin, you can spend $ 600 on a bitcoin digger and get higher productivity.

Even now it is possible to use smartphones for mining. But the question is who will be willing to take the risk of getting his Apple iPhone worth $1,000 fried, in order to get $0.0001 worth of Bitcoins every month? No one in their right mind would do that.
