windows qt needs to be in a zip file pass protected well before launch. This is the way it is done now, gives people time to download and do a virus check.

also your diff retarget is an old school method that will no longer work. It will be abused by multipools and left for dead at super high diff , i would change this before launch or else more hassle to change after.

block halving seems very slow the blocks are slow and 200k blocks until halving... anyway i guess that bit is up to you guys but really that diff retarget will not work these days at all.

-No gravity?
-No new ideas?

Appcoin has plenty of gravity, believe me. Though we try to brake this natural force from holding us down by developing services and projects around the currency with our devoted team.
Appcoin specializes on digital application purchases by offering a smooth and real digital payment option.
The main goal of Appcoin is to serve as a valid payment method on application distribution platforms. Appcoin is a perfect option for purchasing a mobile application for a consumer with a smartphone. Why? Comparing to the current payment options that are now being used by the application stores, Appcoin offers a very fast, secured and low fee cost for these usually fairly small digital transactions making it cheap and perfectly suitable payment method.

Firstly
Jesus people.... the person here was asking for a KGW and the respond of the devs indicates they have no idea what it is. That tells you a lot about how much effort and thoughts were given to the development of this coin. Besides

Secondly
As stated in the description of this coin : '' For apps with a price, generally a percentage of 20-30% goes to the distribution provider (such as iTunes), and the rest goes to the producer of the app. ''
To make this coin work you would need to find a distribution provider that doesn't charge anything or producers that don't want a penny for their product and will instead count on pre-mine clone of litecoin. There is nothing stoping bitcoin or any other altcoin to do what this coin claim it will do. This coin have no exclusivity nor does it have any specifications designed for apps market.

Do you have plans to also create an app store that accepts appcoin?

We are currently surveying the possibilities to develop a service like that but we can't promise anything yet. We have also been in contact with some application providers and would rather co-operate with one than making a store ourselves.

720 sec block time? that's 12 minutes right.. Doesn't that mean transactions take approx 12 min to get 1 confirm?
What if a site requires at least 3 confirms, that would take 36 min for a transfer?

Thanks for your post!
We are having a development intercourse tomorrow and we will discuss also about the ideas that you've proposed above. We value and appreciate feedback like this a lot and we encourage the whole community to bring up ideas concerning Appcoin service development, promotion, marketing and further evolution.

We have recieved nice amount of messages concerning translation, promotion and other services. We are thankful for this devotion coming from the people in cryptocurrency-scene and we wish to have more of these contacts. At the moment we have discussed about German, French and Chinese translation services for Appcoin but feel free to suggest any other language as well! Also promotion services concerning any language are warmly welcomed.

I dont get it. What are you bringing thats new here? Some huge name on your board of directors, someone who is like running google's play store  or apples itunes?

THen why do you need your own coin for that?

Oh cuz the tech is different! I know, you solved transaction malleability in wallet calculations of balances! That's awesome because it's sorely needed in every coin now, including
bitcoin.

Im also glad to see you are working off the latest LTC source to ensure you have all the latest fixings and repairs to wonky code.

Please confirm all of the above.

Also outline your middlecoin pool resistance concepts that wont leave it at huge diff with no hashes after the hashwave tsunamis you out to 10,000s blocktimes.
