i don't understand guys which come with say 0.001 BTC , double it few times in a row, than decide to take more risk and put their chance to 1-20% and lose all....why didn't they keep playing with the way it worked? ?

nota bene: site wagered 1149.8203BTC -> we're still above the expected profit at 0.99% house edge

Does that mean the site profit will go down before the site wagered amount goes up to match it?

Just as in rolling dice, getting lucky (or unlucky) in the past doesn't ensure that you'll get unlucky (or lucky) in the future.  Over the long run, everything should even out to the statistical average, but that long run can easily be hundreds of billions of rolls (for example, JD is on 1 billion rolls and they are running 36,000BTC BELOW expectation).

Totally agree with FUR Smiley

It is mathematically unrelated event. But even if in the long run site's profitability should match with its house edge, it doesn't mean that the site has to lose in order to balance its profit. For example, if in the first month a site with 1% HE is profiting 2% and in the next 11 month the site is profiting 1%, then in average site's profit is already near 1%, that is ~1.083% (assuming same wagered amount on each month).

i don't understand guys which come with say 0.001 BTC , double it few times in a row, than decide to take more risk and put their chance to 1-20% and lose all....why didn't they keep playing with the way it worked? ?

There's no system that can change ev. But a system does able to change the other factors. Lets take martingale for example, while the ev remains the same, "chance of a person leaving the site in a winning condition" does increase Smiley

How often do you make payments to investors? Or do they just take any profit (assuming there is some) at the time they divest their interest?

Hi, just so I understand then, let's take as an example the last two days you have entered here:

update 17.04.2014  invested 0.54708222BTC, ~0.5726%. lots of gambling, more invest   site bankroll 95.540405 & site profit 15.189882
update 19.04.2014  invested 0.56231407BTC, ~0.5714%.                                          site bankroll 98.221269 & site profit 17.802014

Let's just assume that the increased bankroll all came from one person for the sake of simplicty. Bankroll increased by 2.680864 and profit increased by 2.612132. So if our investor there were to divest after one day of investment, if I'm understanding the process correctly, his profit would look like this:

2.680864 (his investment) / 98.221269 (total investment) = 0.0272941291361243 (his share) * 2.612132 (site profit during his investment) = 0.07129586 (his profit)

So his total withdrawal would be 2.680864 (his investment) + .07129586 (his profit) = 2.75215986

Please let me know if I'm understanding the process correctly, or correct me where I went wrong. Thanks.

How often do you make payments to investors? Or do they just take any profit (assuming there is some) at the time they divest their interest?

When someone loses the investment grows and when someone wins it decreases, you can check that online on the website

Be sure you can legally invest in a bitcoin casino where you live

your second assumption is right, investors can just take their btc and leave.

Hi Jaysabi, for rough estimation your calculation should do fine Smiley

There are few things that can affect the calculation though:
- Your %tage of shares can change when other people divest / invest in the middle of those timeframe. This will affect your share of bankroll, making your profit slightly higher / lower.
- There is 0.1% referral reward that is taken everytime a bet is struct. From above example, if there is 100 BTC wagered during those timeframe, the fee would be 0.1 BTC, thus shared profit will be 2.512132.

Most of the case the rough estimation should do fine. But you can see in Shitaifan's case, Shitaifan receive slightly higher profit than rough estimation.

Fine by me ED. I know it has been far too long, I will be back to claim those highest spots again Wink
Btw would it be beneficial to do a investment history showing what they have earned or loss with their investment so they can keep track of their own investments. And rewards those who continually invest into ED

If you invest more and don't divest you stand to make more, I don't think bonuses for loyalty should even discussed in that case, I am not invested but it is my opinion
