I don't think you are a shill, but from what I heard, buying his balance for a few coins and then possibly exchange that for a slice of the house edge - or other benefits for that matter, does not sound ethical to me.
I don't see any ethical problem with Ruru buying 1dice1's ED balance if both parties are happy with the deal. The offer was maybe a little low, but it's starting to look like it may have been a little high, too. For those who think otherwise, I'm owed 1 BTC by pirateat40, and am willing to sell the debt for 1% of its face value.

In a fiat currency, if a debt goes bad it is sold to a collection agency. The only difference in this scenario is that a collection agency has a better chance to collect.

winning is winning.... pay 1Dice1. i mean if there is a bug .. then its the site owner's fault. being an investor thats part of the risk prior to deciding to invest. Surely it depends on whether or not there was a bug that 1DiCe wasn't aware of, but benefited from, or whether it was a glitch that he knowingly exploited. If you go to any casino and you exploit the site, the chances of you getting any money back (even your deposit) is pretty much zero. In fact, that would apply to glitches too.

In a fiat currency, if a debt goes bad it is sold to a collection agency. The only difference in this scenario is that a collection agency has a better chance to collect. Being a common practice doesn't make it ethical imo. And every case is a case. One of the options I heard from Ruru, both on ED and JD chat, was to buy the balance for a few coins, getting the slice of investment he lost, and returning the rest to ED's administration and investors, so everyone would be happy except from the person who actually won in the first place. If this is not correct, please clarify. (How can both parties be happy if you are offering a legit winner to give up 140BTC in exchange for a few coins?) In the ideal approach, the winner gets paid, investors lose. And with little investment trust left, there's not gonna be much space for ED to come back with the same plan for bankroll funding. In a realistic approach, ED won't pay, no matter what, because it would collapse. They can't let the investors down. They need 1DiCe1 to give up the winnings in order to survive. Either 1DiCe1 accepts a few coins or a share of the edge, or loses everything back to the hand of the investors and site's administration. While first option allows site to come back, I doubt very much on the second one. Whatever will happen, there won't be a cashout, although I secretly hope that I'm wrong for the sake of the community... EDIT: the site owes a player. you can buy the site's debt I suppose

A lot of people are saying "just pay him already" without realising that it is not himself he's trying to protect here, but the site's investors.
I've played at a lot of online casinos before and have been refused payments for the smallest of things, and that's from the casinos own bankroll. In this case, there are some slightly peculiar results from two players - not impossible, but almost 3SD/4SD respectively from my quick calculations which is highly unusual.
I think in this case the admin is right to proceed with caution, especially if there is even the slightest suspicion that the site could have been compromised.
? Can you show the math you used to arrive at 3SD/4SD? I can't speak to P-4747, but I was gambling along side 1Dice at ED and he sure did a lot of losing in between his winning. 3SD/4SD sounds dubious to me on first glance. If it was indeed 3SD/4SD, he is super lucky. at 3SD, he'd be 0.1% of the population and at 4SD, i dont even know what that is. would love to see the math behind those calcs.

Don't lie, i haven't sold my winnings. The money that investors lost after i played are the risk they accepted when they did investment, and i won it fairly with risking my own money. Admin just theft us our balance/invested money when he decided to stop withdrawals and shutdown website. He still doesn't reply my emails so i think he just ran away with money.

Yeah if they did payout u , investors wplouldnt have any right to argue. This way u all got scammed, investors can be litle bit less angry coz they lost theirs money when u won , and wouldawe lost it even if they did not scam if coz they would need tocpay u out. So i thing u lost more. Its rly sad. U got lucky , than much more unlucky.

Same at ED. You weren't playing against the site, you were playing against the investors. The site made a profit from every bet, just like you do on your site. It's much the same. You could decide to run off with player funds at any time, since you hold them which the bets are pending.

Thatvis just nature of bitcoin, u can accept it, and love it, or look elsewhere. As long as there is no laws about bitcoin gambling and casinos, we can only rely on trust.

In case someone didn't know, there is a new updated message on the site. 28 May 2014
As an operator of the site, again I'm really sorry for the inconvenience and delayed investigation. Cold wallets are currently under control of our major investor (as you can see our bankroll grows in substansial amount in the second day of launch). The major investor will be able to release the coin only after investigation is confirmed and finished.
Why would they give control of their wallets to an investor? Its really more suspicious. why they gave their cold wallet to investor. are they buying time or what. as I told you all before the investors could have been part of the scam, when a con men works he dont work alone but with others, and some of the conmen could be in this very room but without proof people are just gonna back them up. They guy could be an established btc member and you wont even know it cause he was with a shill account all this time
