Just saw this thread. I played on this site and the experience was good. Couldn't imagine how it turned out.

How come the OP of this thread is not banned? Even if what he said is true, at the end of the day it's his responsibility to have the funds safe and secure.

Banning the OP does not help in any way, in fact, it might worsen it, should he decide to reopen the site and cough up.

Yeah "his imaginary friend investor" that invested loads of money and now he cant reach him. Thats for sure. Dont be silly, if that is the case Ed would put much more effort into proving it , not just put a notice on the site and leave for good.

That's a needlessly elaborate scam though, you think the user 'uptweets' decided to create a new everydice account, just so he could eventually run off with people's money?
If people can't track down uptweet (despite a strong link to another user here) then how could they track down Ed? Ed could have just done the exact same thing using one account and run away with it anyway.

Elaborate scam? Its a genius idea. Launch a gambling site, copy someone else's design. Play with it for a while until players start to invest. Then jump shit when you feel you have enough btc.

Breaking news : Edward got 3 kg up since he made largest scam in the dice history. He says that he was eating too much BTC pies. Cmon, you're still writing in this topic, ED is dead for 2 months now almost, so just forget your money there and live with it. Start with something safer like PD is.

Over a month now since the last post in this thread Ruru has just mentioned however that the coins are still in the cold wallet, no movement at all... is there even the slightest glimmer of hope they could be recovered?

To be honest, nope, unless someone can dox OP and get him in real life, and somehow make him agree to pay the investors and gamblers back.

The problem is, since the coins are still in cold storage it makes me wonder if even whoever was in control of them, still actually has control of them... is there a chance that something has genuinely happened to the coin holder?
Or is this probably just a ruse, hoping that we all forget about it in time and don't notice the coins being transferred out?

Even if Everydice's story was true, and the site's bitcoin was in the hand of a "mysterious investor", I don't think you can find him... Someone suspected that "mysterious investor" was uptweets, who has completely vanished since the incident. Everyone should read the first page of this thread. In addition to me warning people that this was a possibility, there is also one user who wanted to invest "a large amount" and then asked ED if he wanted to "sell the site other then take donations" (not sure what this means but may be misworded to sell the site and just take commissions). This user also has not posted on BCT in ~3 weeks, which seems to be 1-3 days after all of this going down.
Could be a giant coincidence, could be the two of them were in cahoots since the start, could be ED is telling the truth (yet is/has still acted extremely unethically), could be ED is looking for a scapegoat. Just seems...odd to me.
It makes sense. Btw, it seems uptweets has put quite some effort and bitcoin in promoting ED, or maybe just trying to get some ref. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551101.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=581092.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=589256.0I am surprise not so many members came forward to say how much they lost uptweets hasn't logged in since May 27, it would be interesting to have a comment from him but it would probably be along the lines of "i am not the early investor ED is talking about"

Probably ended up bit earlier than they wanted coz of 1dice1 but stilll they made nice amount of money.

Does anyone have the transaction IDs associated with the scam? If you have ever deposited, or withdrew from EveryDice please post your TXID here. Maybe we can trace the wallets and see if the scammer is still in the Bitcoin community by another name.
