I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.  

Etherium Is usually used by some ICO projects to promote their products by making a smart contract where as they used erc20 token and that is etherium obviously. And because of smart contract many ICO projects had successfully raised their token to make a Initially coin In the market. And that is my perception why etherium made its fame.

the current decline in market prices, I dare to mention that this is a transition period in crypto activity. this kind of thing like selling BTC to buy more Ethereum (ETH) is a good strategy at this point in my opinion. and just be sure that BTC and ETH will rise again in price.

I think that is very true also. But i think Eth really is becoming so popular because it is the most adopted protocol out there right now and it is now 2nd to bitcoin. It is the 2nd alternative that is better than bitcoin interms of speed.  I also think that when ethereum continue to adopt to speed. and other things that makes a protocol the best, ethereum can never lose to any of its competitors out there. My own opinion though.

Based on my own perception ethereum became more popular because eth is the foundation of many  ICOs in the would because before we can use their coins we need to convert first their coins to eth that is why eth is the most popular if we are talking about altcoin.

Don't make an assumption that investors are selling Bitcoin to buy Ethereum because it is not only Ethereum that have a potential to grow. If they are buying Ethereum the price should be moving high very fast.

I think today BTC is worth more than ETH.
the demand now is with Bitcoin, people i think now is selling for BTC.
you can see the market, the value of BTC is really going up while ETH is at stable stage with USD.
though, ETH value with bTC is decreasing.

Well it's not been popular lately with investors or the price wouldn't of been going down. Definitely one of the better projects out there though.
