Eth has become popular, do you know the reasons?
I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.
Of course the main reason for the popularity of this ico , because of this course rose very quickly to large values , I think next year it will happen again! |

Even with the recent decline in Ethereum price, I still believe that ETH is more popular than any other cryptocurrency except BTC, Ethereum invented smart contract and it is the first blockchain to issue tokens, these are two very major achievements.

Ethereum popularity was raised on the wave of ICOs booming last year as it is the most trusted platform. This year ICOs are struggling and ETH is declining with the market and even beyond the market trend.

Unwillingly, the Ethereum itself has dug its own grave from the numerous projects that created their coins on the smart contract of ERC20. I am even afraid to imagine what will happen when we touch the bottom because now we have not reached it yet! ahead of the holidays and the Chinese New Year.

yeah that's the reason why many people buys ethereum. I dont know why but for me btc is becoming very obsolete compare to altcoins. I wont be shock if eth overtakes btc in the near future. If its not eth to be the king then its eos or cardano i believe. |

I think its the other way around. A lot people were selling Ethereum and that is why up until now, its still decreasing. The price is at its lowest, below $100 USD and the only reason it will happen is a lot of people selling their ethereum at the same time. Bitcoin on the other hand just decreased this month and it could still recover from the slumps. Both of them can recover anytime but Bitcoin is more likely to increase than Ethereum.

EOS is getting much more popurar and ETH still shows no growth, even after the news about ETH 2.0, so I can see no recovery opportunity for it. |

Ethereum popularity increased when a lot of erc-20 based project creation is a lot and most of the development interested to worked ETH platform. So that eth incredibly growing within a years. Running is the most failure in eth project and end of the year eth making panic.
