I do not trust the ratings - they are corrupt.
It is better to analyze the projects yourself, communicate with the founders. So you can get invaluable experience

No, I do not trust such sites. It seems to me that they provide information that is beneficial to someone. I think that we should question such information.

Look at the ratings of ICO, it's a waste of time. If you want to know something about the project, then read their white paper and look for information about the project from people who are also interested in this project.

You can buy the rating of your ICO and so I do not really trust the ICO ratings, besides they are still exposed in most cases approximately the same, so you will not be able to distinguish a good project from a bad one. I sometimes go to such sites only to see how much the tokens cost))))))

Indeed, we should be vigilant on reading legit or fake post on every ratings because it might have caused some confusion against the potential investors like us. Every person has the right to scrutinize before being engaged for the project that he has to be involved with. You should trust it if the ico has gathered 30% sells on its current progress.

No, I do not trust the ratings on the sites, since any crypto project can buy a rating for its ICO on these sites. A lot of cases associated with this were in crypto. They specifically promote the project for their own benefit.

Since everything is verifiable on the internet,  the question of trust is not my concern.  I will always do my due diligence before parting with my hard earned bitcoin! Rating is just a step to Help you channel your energy in finding out the integrity and visibility of any project!

I think that ICO rating sites can help you to understand which project is worth spending time on it. To my mind, it is better to trust ico projects which can guarantee you something, not just any ico

According to researchers, a new attack is being carried out by a North Korean hacker group responsible for the cryptographer Hermes. Several attributes indicate this at once, including a script called "window.bat", paths and special markers

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

No,it is a bad way to look at projects.
Do not trust those ratings, they are bought and i have seen a lot scam projects with the best ratings.

Do your own research.

No, I do not. I have seen some of these ICOs with 5 star ratings fail or become really shitty projects at the end of the day or ICOs with 1 or 2 star ratings that do well at the end of the day. I do not know how they do some of the ratings, but it just doesn't work for me. I rather carry out my own analysis on an ICO rather than follow these ratings. They are a total waste of efforts.

Sometimes I see that this ICO rating needs to be seen. I actually believe in this ICO rating because the rating team also gave this rating with accountability. However, I did not make this rating the only determinant of whether or not the ICO is good. In my opinion, as the main determinant of ICO's good or bad, it still analyzes the ICO. I am used to analyzing ICO with the SWOT analysis method. I apply this to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the ICO for success. From the analysis, then I can weigh well or not to follow.

I do not trust ICO rating sites, they do not have a facility or experts for evaluating ICOs. For me to comment and judge is to give evidence to compare, but most sites do not do this.

You must also conduct your own research on each project before investing.

An ICO rating can only be a reference to your solution. In the end, you have to choose.

I believe that rating sites do a very useful job - they systematize the information that later can be quickly and very conveniently viewed.

I think that it is dangerous to trust such sites, because they provide inaccurate information. That's why I prefer to analyze each project independently.

It's better to analyze it yourself, because an ico with a higher rating will probably collect a good amount, but the further existence of the product is not known.
