aceoyame has it all sorted

great dev interaction - many thanks

a question to anyone who knows about how SIMPLICITY works

Is it possible to change or specify which wallet address SIMPLICITY mines to?

It seems to randomly pick an address in your electrum wallet

And then for some reason - decides to change the address from time to time?

Ask neuroMode.

Wait from him global update. Roll Eyes

The reason you aren't getting any payout is because there's no one else mining with you on groestl Sad

You should really try qubit, as there's more hash there (although it may take some time before you actually find a share).

That's right. There needs to be a block found before there's a payout . . . and if you're the only one mining (virtual solo mining as it would be), then the entire block reward is yours! The flip side is that it might be a while before you hit pay dirt.

Great job you've been doing with your pools Bird. Excellent work.

And now, the real reason for this post: you know, my only problem with Qubit is that my cards heat up quite a bit; the energy consumption doesn't budge from the optimized myriad-groestl level, but the cards heat up a bunch and my fan speeds hit 70% or so to keep them at their 80º target. What's your experience?

Thanks! Gotta love maintenance.

Hmm, it shouldn't be getting that hot with Qubit. Are you using the sphminer or Max's M8M miner? His miner ramps the temps up quite a bit more than the sphminer.

Recently I noticed my cards running at about 70C, when they normally run at about 60C. So I took the air gun and dusted out my rig.... And made a huge cloud of dirt/dust. That might be your problem as well :p

It's been like that for a few weeks. You might want to try using my block explorer instead at http://birdonwheels5.no-ip.org

But please note that it seems to be a little behind on syncing... I'll be looking into it when I get home from class in a couple hours.

Edit: Block explorer should be all fixed. Nevermind, I still need to work on it.

Hey,

I've downloaded and installed the latest version of Simplicity. Now I'm mining at around 400,000 Khash/s (Alg used: Myraid Groestl) on my 4 year old nvidia card (EVGA GTS450 1GB). Am I doing OK? Or should I rather buy a better card instead of wasting time/electricity on mining for a single coin per night?

http://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/2gn2ow/myriadcoin_to_be_listed_on_altmarketcom/

Myriad will be featured on the upcoming AltMarket.

Furthermore, the Simplicty GUI should be beta released this weekend.

We also have a working Simplicty repo now here: https://github.com/aceoyame/Simplicity-MYR

Has the SMS wallet ever been implemented or is it still in "private beta" stage? If it's the latter, I'm going to be extremely pissed off Smiley

there is a new qubit miner: https://github.com/MaxDZ8/M8M/releases/tag/376-preAlpha
It's faster than sph sgminer or sgminerv5.

Maybe interesting for the simplicity

there is still no secure decentralized way to do the service, a simple sms wallet could be done in days but that would be the same as an online wallet with an sms interface so basically a hot wallet that can be broken in at any time.

nope

Security is no issue at all for small wallets - start now with simple non secure.  Work to better.

I am ready to roll this out in my Asian business right now!

If I recall correctly this is for Windows only right?  Any plans to release a linux version so that I could upgrade from PiMP?
