You prolly don't want to associate with this Payu Harris clone, just my thoughts........
wat ? Foodies, I know I'm going to get flamed as a troll, but I really am not, I want MYR to succeed. Weiner is a liability, you shouldn't have anything to do with him, he's going to make MYR look silly (at best). He is heading for a fall and you might want to distance yourselves from it. My Harris reference is because of the remarkable similarity in social skills that he and Weiner possess..... i.e. none. Hence our own MYR projects. We are working with them and not FOR them. Bryce made it very clear that they would use our blockchain with or without our permission and to forbid him to do so would have required a hardfork in which we would have nodes reject his colored headers which could have only be done after the release of Lib. Plus I see no threat in him, he may be missing a few pickles from the jar but hey aren't we all ? Either way the resistance to joint projects and metalayer is the first problem that made bitcoin foundation look like douchebags and MYR wants to be the exact opposite of that. Even if tomorrow say, primer- wants to make a metalayer coin or some other project that uses (BUT NOT ALTERS) our blockchain he is welcome to do so, we have nothing against nobody and will try our best to help everybody. I'm sorry you feel that way about Bryce, I've spoken to him personally and althoug I'm not exactly his number one fan, I'm convinced his intentions are good. I guess only time will tell. I take offence in your assumption that you're going to get flamed because if I've left that kind of impression, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I believe any argument can be settled through a discussion if both parties bring arguments to the table, I only "troll" people who come and blurt out unsustained and unproven excrement from their brains on the tread. That's cool, we understand each other's position. I wasn't trying to imply that you would flame me, more likely the BW fans that congregate on his website - sorry for the confusion. Hope it works out. I'm actually quite sure there are no Bryce fans in our thread, or in general as a matter of fact. I've drawn the conclusion that basically everyone hates him ) karma I guess ...

For someone who just wants to have a little fun with mining, is it possible to mine MYR coin with one of those antminer USB things?
Antminers are SHA256d right? If so, then yes!

I find it hilarious so many people hate Bryce Weiner. He's a brilliant guy who clearly has no patience for stupid and puts up with trolls 24/7. The guy is making a ton of money for himself and for his company, but nobody respects that part of it. He works his ass off, love him or hate him, and has put his reputation on the line in public. And foodies said it perfectly, Bryce still isn't even in control of anything for Myriad, it's simply a project for his company Blocktech to bring mining to developing nations. This takes...a LOT of work. A lot of work behind the scenes that you aren't seeing every day. The fools are the one who spend their time laughing and accusing and criticizing other successful people. What does the fool accomplish by doing this? Nothing. In fact, the fool does worse than nothing--he wastes his time and resources on meaningless vitriol when instead he could be doing things to better himself in life. This is why the fool remains the fool and the successful people keep successful.Viva la Myriad! (PS: For those who have wondered where I've been lately, I've just been caught up finishing research for my master's thesis that I've been procrastinating with. I haven't gone anywhere )

Tell us about Part 3 : Securing 5 algo difficulty under low profitability.
Miners are moving on, soon all 5 algos will be CPUable. Death is near.
What the hell are you talking about? http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/The idiot wants to cause a stampede so he can buy more MYR cheaper or bring it down to make his own little copycoin take its place. (A stampede is an act of mass impulse among herd animals or a crowd of people in which the herd (or crowd) collectively begins running with no clear direction or purpose. Species associated with stampede behavior include cattle, elephants, blue wildebeests, walruses, wild horses, rhinoceros, and humans.) Primer-, there are only a few reasons why you would be here. for instance if you truly did not like this coin or believe in it then you would not be posting on this thread and wasting your time with these long posts. hell, if we all did that to all the coins we didn't like or believe in... well you could imagine where that would get us lol... The fact is no human being (at least not an intelligent one) goes out of there way too "waist" (because it would be a waist to them) even an ounce of there energy on something that they don't believe in unless there is something they are benefiting from the interaction because not only do they not care for it but its well, a "waist". So that leads me to believe that your only intentions of posting on this thread and saying what your saying is because either A. Your extremely butt hurt about something in regards to myriadcoin that has nothing to do with anyone else B. Your ego is bruised because of someone in this thread C. Your trying to cause panic so you can get cheaper coins and your playing wolf in sheep's clothes D. Choose what ever other reason that would benefit you to post what your posting Primer-, Your wayyyyy to transparent and quit frankly pretty annoying. Cheers

I feel personally sorry for our myr-sha256.poolerino.com miners, as we did not see that there was an error in our db since the 16.05.2014. The resault was no coins had been credited to the user accounts while they did deliver shares. Our pool did not warn us in any way, so we could not see the error sooner. The pool did double payout nearly 250k coins, this is covered by our own private wallets. Meanwhile we fixed the db this morning, all work has been credited since that day and payouts run normal again. No shares been lost. We did install some warning system now, so it should not happen again. Thank you for your mails and msgs in our chat box to help us finding that bug. Mike

MYR is occasionaly still on top of the mining profitability list. I´d guess that selling power is just a bit stronger right now. However, MYR being only 38 on coins value list, i see it rising on long term.

The only "rat" here has been primer~. sussex could not have been more polite in pointing out a thread about Bryce. And regardless of foodies' take that MYR has nothing to do with Bryce, MYR was pumped based on LIB propaganda by MYR staff. I still like the idea of LIB and other projects riding the MYR blockchain. Bryce himself is a questionable character though, and trying to silence those who do question him is not beneficial to the long term stability of MYR. No one should just close their eyes to anything that could hinder the success of MYR. That's just ridiculous. And regarding your definition of fool, that's just more propaganda. Incompetent people and criminals often become successful. I'm still mining MYR, because I believe in the way it was designed. I understand we need a rah-rah publicity stream, but let's please keep that in regards to MYR. If LIB ever happens, great. If not, great. Bryce is just an unneeded distraction. The rah-rah should be for stuff like that 90 day market cap graph.

what's with the sudden slump in myr value? i always see it stead at 450~500
People are just trading a few of their MYR for BTC to ride the upswing of BTC. An imbalance of sellers to buyers will always push the price down a bit. I wouldn't worry too much, if you look a the market cap (long term) there hasn't been a significant drop and the trend is most definitely upwards: https://coinmarketcap.com/myr_90.htmlIn actual fact what is happening is good news - BTC increasing in value will also bring in new investors and traders to the crypto markets as a whole. More fiat will pass over the "event horizon" into crypto and inevitably lots of that investment will find its way through to MYR because MYR is one of the most promising alt coins out there. Also ... consider this ... MYR may be (currently) worth a smaller fraction of a BTC, but BTC value expressed in fiat is increasing thus compensating somewhat for the drop in MYR-BTC exchange rate. My advice to anyone right now is buy MYR while its cheap... once all those new BTC holders start moving into alt markets, the price of MYR will most definitely rise.
