Actually even right now it is possible to invest in a new ICOs and get income from it. It is very difficult, but if you can make a good fundamental analysis, you will find potentially strong ICOs. Personally I always analyze such indicators as technology (product) and the team (search information about each person) behind ICO, level of hype, availability participants selection in the ICO for the Whitelist, distribution of tokens, results of pre-sales and so on.

I won't buy any ICO projects in a bear market, because I think that even if the project can be successfully listed, its price will not be very good!

I think that the bear market is a very good opportunity to buy altcoins at very low prices and expect growth in the future

I think it's fine to invest even we experience a bear market because the price is low so it will be good to us if the bull run start we get a good profit from what we invest.

don't invest ico if in the bear market, you can lose a lot of money if you invest, now ico is very detrimental to investors, wait until the market is fully recovered

I quite disagree.

What's the return you could make off ETH in the long run 'if' correction sets in, a 2 or 3x or even a 4x at max - and yes that's like $1,148 USD/ETH. You invest in an ICO like MFChain, or INGOT Coin, or even DataBlockchain with either revolutionary concepts or having achieved huge contribution feats already. I bet within 10 months you could make as high as 100x. Not speculative, historical data proves it.

for now it might be quite risky to invest in IOO because since this bear market took place, a lot of ICO are scam and decide which ico is good and where IOIC is bad too difficult because IOO seems good, there is still the possibility that IOO is ico who scam, and ico which seems to be not good even there is the possibility that ico is a successful ico, but that doesn't mean that all ico like that, there's still a good ico, maybe, for now, it's better to invest in crypto coins than invest in ico, that's in my opinion.

The hardest time to invest is in a bear market. You end up purchasing little amount of tokens for more ETH or BTC. But it's also a good time for projects to collect good sums of money during their crowdfunding, as ETH or BTC goes up, so does the value of the funds raised.

The question now is, will you invest in ICOs, or stick with investing in market dips (buy low, hodl and wait to go up and sell), or simply trade in bear markets?
The ideal situation, with time until the Ico passes and the coin gets to the stock exchanges, the market will change in a mirror image and you will get the most out of it. The main thing will not miss with the project.

Bear market won't last forever. Imho for long-term holding if you see great ICO you can participate it. Few months before it was to much harder to get into ICO. Now it will be easier and the ETH cost is quite low.

Yes and you should take advantage while the market is in a downfall mode. Although you need to choose the best available ICO at this time and do your diligent research to make it sure that they are legit. ETH is now cheaper and if you buy and invest in ICO will be a good decision as you will just spend few dollars and get many token.

Only a good project that I think will have a huge potential in the market in their Ico stage that I'm going to invest in an ICO but I still prefer to buy a stable coin in the bear market, or wait for the coin to hit the market, because the current trend is coin will have a lower value when it hit the market compare on it's ICO stage.

Even bear market I've invested in Origo and want to invest in CertiK and QuickX - good projects that all we need but it's risky so DYOR. I know that high risk = high profits.

In this period of bear, I prefer to invest in stable and promising coin than in ico because this coin have established themselves in the crypto community than icos that are just building up and trying to get the attention of investors and some will not even survive the bear. If I invest in stable coin, I am sure when the market recover, the price of the coin will also rise but icos will still take long time before it will end.

To buy coins at the good price and to wait for them growth. If the coin has grown, then it needs to be sold. It is the simple scheme. To play in the bear markets experience is necessary.

Yes, it is good because if you find potential in the project then it is always good to invest in the ICO, but before that, we have to check what was the ETH price they set at the time of ICO, according to that we have to invest.

it is very risky to invest in ICO at such a market, because few projects after ICO show at least their own price for ICO on the stock exchange, therefore I consider it is not the time for investments in ICO now.

For quick profit, it is not a good idea, as most coins go below ICO price once it hits the exchange.
But a currency with good potential and a Te commited to the long-term targets, is a worthy investment regardless of the market situation.
