So just put that into perspective a bit.

Lol Kal, Yo da man!!!!

i wasnt trying to talk down on their skills or anything. Just saying that We are doing way more advanced
level stuff than they are. They hire someone in btc to make a script that handles it and boom
they have another game.

Hey no need to defend!!!

I know the difference between designing and writing some thing from the ground up and simply configuring and adding a few add-ons/plugins with a bit of tailoring thrown in. Take your time and do it right. Faster in the long run :-)

Not faster but BETTER yes.

No. Faster in the sense that you get it right first time so you spend less time fixing things that are not right or changing things because you realise in retrospect that you should have done things differently. Future enhancements also become easier.

So maybe we should say FASTER and BETTER

We(Read:I) are writing a game from the GROUND up.
Our team isn't huge. I am the only programmer, and i have to split my tasks up between wallet, game, real life, labor ready.
So I do work as much as I can, but they have a team of scripters. Wink

I have to write an entire backend for the game, and when i say backend i mean a master server from scratch. the C2 integration.

Also making sure we aren't going to be hacked by Keyboard warriors(scriptkiddies);
This is peoples money that basically all falls back on me if it is something stupid these kids
can get away with cause I am the only one checking over the code.

Seriously making a game from the ground up takes years even with a game engine already there.
Big companies have budgets of MILLIONS of Dollars yet a game still takes tens of Thousands of man hours to complete.

So just put that into perspective a bit.

If it takes big companies millions of dollars and thousands of man hours how is it possible that you can pull this off on your own? Don't get me wrong I support C2.1 and have a considerable stake and appreciate all your hard work but it just seems like an undoable task.

that is only if you think that way.  If one puts their mind to it, they can accomplish anything! Wink

Think about how many indie companies do it. Go watch indie game the movie. Come back with insight into how it works. Smiley

Wow everything i type can be misconstrued as snarky but this is not the case. Smiley

Anyone else think Hyper is looking like a pump and dump scam coin?

I mean...............

they hired a dev, who dumped all his coin and said the whole project was not legit, and I just read there using their 'marketing fund' to 'finance their Mintpal campaign'.

I don't think its a scam. yet I'm not the best judge. still new to this. seems like a lot of work to be a scam.
most would have dumped immediately. and left for dead.

I hope not also, but using funds to buy onto mintpal is just another way of saying they are using the funds to inflate the price. Whats Blitzy doing for them?

Not scam, but pumpy/dump.

I think he donated hyper.

I see nothing wrong with giving incentives to vote. its better then giving mintpal the money. its a lot of work for the coinzen people or whoever is   to dole all that to so many voters. finally got some to my wallet the other day ,,   its showing a community effort.

now if they were giving money to mintpal, different story.

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is a good idea since Devs seem to work on the game and I don't know how much time is left for implementing features of the coin.
I was talking to kallisto about this a while ago in PM but maybe it is a good idea to talk about it in community as well.
Encrypted communication in crypto-currency-networks is really popular since a couple month. I know there is plenty of coins out there using implementations
of security and privacy mixed features and are working hard in developing and enhance these.
I would love to have features like this in C2.1 as we will be able to make a big growth on exchanges getting back the attention we had a long time ago. Still
primary focus should stay on game. How does that sound?

i say lets concentrate on the game, and let some of the work be done by others coins. Blackcoin is doing awesome ideas. and it looks like they are staying true to the community and having it open source as it rolls out.  I think we all can be strong as a people working for each other.  So excited to see how many things these awesome developers are doing.  Smiley
