hey King Arbin, any ideas why a deposit to bittrex has no confirmations an hour and a half later?
Cause the network is kinda gone to hell atm.. just wait, i have received word from the exchanges that they have your unconfirmed so things will still be ok during the conversion, but just do like FredDag was saying and try to rescan your blockchain or redownload it. We are gonna have to manually convert peoples coins by having them send their wallet.dats to us AFTER everyone has the new wallet so they have a new address to tell us where to send their coins. In fact, personally,we do not need old coin2, so I think that holders still send old coin2 to exchanges(bittrex and NEX-E).And then, according to unconfirmed count, the devs allocates new Coin2.

Worth the time to discuss in IRC after all. We all finally has more alternative to help resolve issues. Cheer and Good night.

Correction to idea with RPC calls:
- I thought about it a little more and that's not that good idea actually - rpc protocol is plain http, we cannot trust it. One can write his rpc server and fake responses easily.
Regarding 2 latest ideas:
- simple daemon that run locally can be easily compromised too and I'm not sure we are capable of writing another safe crypto thing just for swapping coins - I don't think exchanges are going to swap balance by unconfirmed deposits - pretty risky for them
Sorry, can't join IRC right now, please post ideas here too. Be back in 8-10 hours.
Thanks.

I am not an expert on the blockchain.... but, with regards the RPC method, if we use listUnspent() then shouldn't the response be verifiable ?

Is this what you mean, coins sent to Bitter or NXT-e with 0 confirmations can still be included in the swap because you cannot send those coins again in the network? And you will only get a message like the one in the image even rescan or redownload blockchain using backup wallet. If it is impossible to send again those coins and will only get the same error message. The devs can really allocates those coins with 0 confirmation on exchange with new Coin2.

Wow the crypto world is really getting fukin crazy.
While waiting for instructions on what I should do with my c2 coins in my wallet ive been lurkin into some other communities. Whew not going to list them all but talk about disfunction. Once c2 gets back on track I suggest any of this: to the moon shit has to be left out. Every community smelling like scams..shicoin this, shitcoin that. We need to collectively change the path of cryptos in general. Bad pub for one coin is bad for all.... .. ... ....got to admit though been laughing my ass off reading this shit

What exactly is the nature of this new attack on Coin2? Is somebody exploiting the fact that PoW component has not been disabled in this coin? If this is the case then release hardfork wallet update that disables PoW. Once network is secure using only PoS release new wallet and swap the coin using exchanges.

I can see a lot of unhappy and frustrated posters on here (not to mention the ungrateful ones). There is quite a few people waiting for trading to resume, so they can buy. If you are not happy with the board/progress/how the issues are handled, then I suggest you sell when it re-opens. Your coins will end up being bought by people that are actually supporting this project and will be happy to let the board do it's job.
