I think Kyc really needs it for anyone who participates in crypto, the first is the IOO organizing team, they do their best if there are people who make fraud, criminals or make multiple accounts, so I don't think there is a problem if some ico ask for personal data submission we.

Been into KYC thing few months after i participated in bounty campaign and i can remember, only seldom of bounty campaigns that require KYC for their bounty hunters. For investors, i think that's already a requirement for now before you can invest or buy their tokens in which investors are protected from having their money scammed.
Some countries requires it even in their bounties since the law in their country requires them to do so. Mostly they just provide it for investor.

I suppose the KYC problem is not necessary, since this is a short term solution to restrict the cheat status of some people. The nature of the ICO project when there are bonus programs is encouraging and creating opportunities for many people to know more about the project. I think there should be better solutions to both projects and participants to benefit
I consider too that KYC is necessary to nobody at all. Of course if project honest. And dishonest projects just complicate receiving remuneration with the help of this procedure.

KYC forbids the idea of crypto being anonymous we also weren't sure if the company do the proper diligence and process to take such documents of us. If its legit and safe to do so.

KYC means Know Your Customers which means it is meant for any customer to provide their details. In as much as as ico investors are customers, they have the right to provide their details for KYC.

But at them it has to be right it not to do the same and remain anonymous. In it there was all essence of cryptocurrency, elimination of intermediaries and anonymity of users.

I think not. There are also projects of ico that does not require for the KYC. The reason behind that some ico require kyc is to avoid cheating, the kyc requires the members to submit personal information profiling for yhe use of their country's rules and regulations about cryptocurrency.

I see all ICOs using KYC and I think that's good, what I'm worried about is that when all investors do KYC but the project suddenly disappears, we can see that there are projects like that here and the bounty hunters must also fill out KYC forms. This is detrimental to everyone because all the data will be stored by them, but I am not worried if the projects we follow continue to develop their platforms, and are always active on social media.

I think KYC when you are an investor is ok as it will protect the company and the user from possible malicious/ hacking attempts. Also, it seems like it is going to be a start for improving regulation in cryptos. On the other hand, KYC in airdrops, I think is quite ridiculous as we only get some amount. On bounties, it would be nice if KYC would not be needed but I think companies are begininng to become stricter with rules.

in my personal opinion, it's not really needed. because according to anonymous crypto transactions, we also should not need an official identity to do or receive transactions from crypto.

To me its not needed because most of the steps may be difficult for so many investors especially those that are new in the crypto-world but most of the makes use of KYC seriously now.

Do we really need to submit our personal details to ICOs for buying the token or for participating in it's bounty and airdrop?
I always wonder why do we need to give our vital info to ICOs that most are not even likely to come on in crypto space and crypto is all about decentralization but submitting our info has made it look centralized to me.
There is no regulation in crypto yet so why should we give our details to unknow ico organizers, so claim to prevent some region in participating in the ico because of the country law but those ICOs comes from the same region and country that prevent their own citizen from participating, should we say they are using style to rob us or our details is being used for other purpose .
I think it's high time we all need to stop giving our details to ICOs if really the crypto is all about decentralized and their is no regulation in the world yet to really require such details, I will like to know everyone minds about the submission of our details in term of KYC .

Maybe for investors, it will be required. But for airdrop and bounty participants, no need to do KYC.
KYC means the coins in your possession can be traced in your address, you won't be anonymous anymore.
There are many scam ICO's that have a team member without their KYC, but they requiring all to be KYC'ed.

The provision of our personal information is dangerous. So we must be careful and know who sees our information. Because it can be used in illegal activities that our identities may be used for evil

Giving your real information is quite a risky decision and part of the KYC. For the reason that they may be use your identity on some area without your permission. So it means that... you will belong to one issue (bad happening or worst illegal doing ) that you are totally innocent. I love crypto currencies because of it's privacy measurement, unknown origin address and untrackable alpha numeric destination. I want to be more anonymous than spreading my real identity to the untrusted community.

I do not like KYC at all, the nature of cryptocurrency is security and anonymity, transparency. However, they need KYC to avoid cheating.

The project with the use procedures KYC I think it will be very difficult. Because not all bounty hunter wants to perform charging KYC. Because they don't have a guarantee that it's safe or simply to in use. If that happens, of course, many people who will be in the shallot trade disadvantaged. I avoid the charging procedure the project by KYC.

I had participated in a bounty program several times which required sending kyc, and the notice was announced at the end of the campaign, because I had been carrying out months of duty and had to send my data. From that I learned before participating it was better to ask the bounty team first, whether to send kyc or not, because it is not certain that we can be comparable to the data we send to foreigners

it was not required originally, but probably someone wants to make crypto centralised and add taxes to crypto incomes, that's why just all of ICOs and exchanges demand KYC.
