Well, from what I can tell, the "big announcement" turned out to be good for the developers, but it is unclear how that benefits the coin. Earlier today, I asked anyone to explain to me how the "good" news was actually good and so far no one has.

Plus, this is exactly what happened to MRC (Micro Coin). The developers of that coin decided to start an exchange and, over time, the coin itself just went to near zero. I have some FAC, but I can't say that I am hopeful as I have seen this movie already.

OK, I see a payment went out on 4/17 for BTC 0.01241793.  You should see your FAC payment some time today.  The dev said he would be sending final payments on Monday (today).  Do not mine on this address anymore, as the multipool has been closed.  Move to hashco.ws and set your payment for FAC.  They have been pretty profitable lately.

I hope the dev does make the payment today it seems strange to wait so long for the payout. is the dev around to maybe confirm that my btc actaully went to the pool. I feel jipped in a sense i rented a rig for a day to see what i could get and still no return on my initial rental. Yes, but you have to give people a reason to buy FAC.  Here in the USA, there is a market for online poker that is mostly untapped.  If we can get the word out about the FIAT/FAC exchange and that the FAC can be used at the poker site, this gives people a reason to buy FAC.  90% of people don't even know what bitcoin is.  The definitely won't know about FAC or any other altcoin.  If you explain that there is a digital currency that you can buy with USD and use to play poker, you may get some extra attention.

Terrible announcement. I haven't been following FAC for the past two weeks, but this is definitely a step in the wrong direction. Look at what happened with Lottocoin/NobleCoin. Infrastructure got bigger, but the coin lost 90% of its value.

If you want to pump the coin, play games with the community. As an example, draw random prizes (like GFX cards) as FAC reaches new highs, etc. Do multipool promotions,... No one expects an altcoin to become an actual currency, there's BTC for that

While I was choosing around next BC between FAC, FLT, COMM.
I felt FLT and COMM is much active community and price is stable or higher.
Although I bought some FAC, and was thinking to point my rigs to FAC pool.
And now, I would say, luckily I didn't.
