just curious, is any further development planned for this coin? Features etc.?

Or is it only about the fair distribution?

Confirmed for me as well.  Wouldn't sync at all, replaced the addnodes with the 2 connects and syn'd right up.

For anyone who lost to be saved token... wait an hour, refresh the http://fair-coin.info web site and get a new token, wait an hour and refresh the http://fair-coin.info web site, click "Get Coins!" button, insert token and wallet address, and your done.  Coins received in 5 days or 49750 addresses .

At this point you can refresh http://fair-coin.info and get an new token, restarting the whole process of waiting an hour....
In your wallet you can make a new address for each new token you summit. (Sharing this info is only Faircoin...  Wink)

I am also having syncing issues. Currently synced again.
Kcanup's post seemed to work. Thank you.

If you have lost your token post your faircoin address here. I'll try to register your address for distribution. Everybody can register 1 address per hour.

Thanks Oto3 for the above image.

Its right on the above post ..... "addresses"
so just use a new one with each token to be safe.
Dont know how?
In your wallet click " Receive Coins" ... you should see at least one address.
now click "New Address" ... name it what ever you want..
Use new address with new token.
repeat

I'm not too familiar with PoS coins. Do you have to leave your wallet open 24/7 to receive interest?

Don't delete your conf file. Put it IN your conf file.

Here's mine:

replace your addnode in your .conf by these.

I've always read it's not necessary, and yes it doesn't seems to be, just the age of the coins makes the stake or the pos.

Aight sall good thanks dude

here is my .conf, working

rpcuser=somethinguser
rpcpassword=lettersandnumbers
addnode=114.214.24.1:46392
addnode=207.245.41.198:46392
addnode=54.84.156.138
addnode=109.87.249.86
addnode=223.78.212.148
addnode=89.166.1.11
gen=0

It was a little messy: Connections: 3.2.3.2.1.2.1.2.3.....4 !... I closed, opened for long minutes, closed, re open it finally synced

Yeah it's true my wallet isn't encrypted, not this one ^^, I DK if it has an effect.

Yup the correct command is walletpassphrase yourpassword 99999 true. I don't know if you input the "". But I didn't try on this wallet since mine is unencrypted. But that's the way I do on PHS and MINT. BUT on the mintcoin wallet, I've had troubles. When I was trying to unlock, it refused, finally I understood the password with signs as $/? wasn't accepted in the debug console, so maybe there a little trouble like this on this wallet too.

already solved the problem that's why I edited my post:)

Can I also get shares/ valid tokens with my mobile phone?
For example I create 10 addresses with my wallet and save them to my mobile phone. And then I use my phone every hour for new tokens with the saved wallet addresses of my computer, or need I the same IP of token/browser and wallet address? Is it necessary that my wallet is always syncing?

Because I'm not at home the most time.

Thanks

A friend of mine managed to get it working using your nodes but I still can't.
I think this has something to do with the fact the my wallet is encrypted and his isn't.

I've used this command line in the console but it doesn't seem to be doing any good:
walletpassphrase "password" 99999 true

I have a couple of active connections but the wallet is not syncing up

here is my .conf, working

rpcuser=somethinguser
rpcpassword=lettersandnumbers
addnode=114.214.24.1:46392
addnode=207.245.41.198:46392
addnode=54.84.156.138
addnode=109.87.249.86
addnode=223.78.212.148
addnode=89.166.1.11
gen=0
