If you have lost your token post your faircoin address here. I'll try to register your address for distribution. Everybody can register 1 address per hour.

How is this "fair" distribution if some people are creating 10+ addresses? I thought this was going to be somehow fair and one address per person.
Why is it so hard for people to say one address per bitcointalk account created before a month ago?
"Oh no! You are cutting out people who are new to crypto and don't have bitcointalk accounts"
Really thats like .01% of the people applying for stake in these coins.
Atleast with that method you are ensuring it really is only 1 stake per person, regardless if some people can't apply.
It's better than 1 stake per person with tons of people gaming the system. Especially in a situation like this where we can be sure the developer is claiming several THOUSAND addresses for himself as theres no way to prove he hasn't.
Fair my ass.

what makes it unfair if you input more than one address ? Fair means that if you DO want to input more than one address, it's done in a way that everyone has access to the same amount of "fairness". So in this scenario, 10 addresses would take you 10+ hours to do so... The barrier is discouraging enough to prevent bots, scammers, or greedy people to get a monopoly on this. 10 addresses would give you 10 000 coins. out of the 50 000 000 possible, it's a decent 0.02% of the distribution and leaves plenty of room for anyone that wants to participate, to have their fair share. It looks pretty fair and honest to me. edit: and how relating the distribution to this forum any more fair? I really don't see why I should have an account here to get my share of a cryptocoin... what about all the newcomers and people with no mining rigs... how can we possibly think we ever going to get mainstream if we restrict the access to geeks, miners and people already in the community(like this forum) ?

It looks pretty fair and honest to me. You are going to have a lot of people creating accounts around the clock to game the system. Why should those people have several times higher stake than those who don't have time to do this? This also leaves open the ability for the developer to claim as much stake as he wants in the background. One account per user ensures the developer doesn't have a majority stake because you can see exactly how many people have applied for stake, you can't just create "phantom accounts".

All miners show up on AV software because many viruses contain mining software. False Positive.

One account per user ensures the developer doesn't have a majority stake because you can see exactly how many people have applied for stake, you can't just create "phantom accounts". On the issue of people creating accounts (and I assume you mean sending more addresses) the process is so long that this wont affect a vast majority of the people. If you don't have time, well that is your particular situation and this is the same as saying why people WITH time can't benefit from this. I think fair doesn't/shouldn't mean equally distributed... That's a "socialist" type of idea that I won't get into here. As for the dev abusing their own system... it is a valid concern. I think it would be stupid from their part and kill the long term possibilities of this coin but hey, it's been done before... Stupid people are stupid people. I guess we need to have some kind of faith and trust there that this won't happen here.
