More people mining means the blocks will arrive quicker than 1 block every 10 mins... so the difficulty goes up...I guess?

Could be.  I have my wallet generating about 5kh/s.  Are enough of us doing that to offset or effect the Megashashes in the pool?

Same boat.  I thought the having to wait an hour before submitting your token was a mechanism to prevent the collection of many stakes by one person.  The opposite happened - it allowed for people who had means such as time or computer expertise to get way more stake than other people.
I don't mind that this happened, it is just not true the the coin was 'fairly distributed'.  We will have to wait for another coin to be the 'first fairly distributed' coin.  This whole distribution idea was a trainwreck.  
People who played fair only get small stake, cheaters and people who game the system get lots of stake. So much for 'faircoin'.

I don't think they are done with distribution.  I have not received coin yet and have one stake.

They are still coming and probably will be for a few more days yet.  I was somewhere around 27000 when I got my first token and haven't received anything yet.  To get all the way through all 49750 will take a while.

Well that is true, but then diff retargets and we're stuck with the same problem again (1 block every 10 min)

We should bring the hashrate down so diff goes down, then it will be easier to maintain consistent hashrate. I don't believe 3mh/s is necessary. We could solve blocks with 350kh/s but we need the diff to stay low
