Damn..
As someone suggested, find a way to make the non distributed coins invalid?
+1 would be the best way for us all to ensure that the coins are ultimately "lost". Devs, proffs plz

Hi, To clarify: we still can't restore the keys. we'll let you know if that changes. but for now, we are moving forward with what we have
REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA! Start over, with the address database, this will ruin the coin. After all this "fair coin" or is it not? What happens to the coins already traded? i.e. how do the people who bought some with btc get their btc back? True... This is a bit of a pickle Fuck it i'm just gonna dump as soon as I get the chance and move on to another coin, this one has lost ALL INTEGRITY! Calm down...sheesh. This coin cost you pretty much next to nothing and you will possibly get SOMETHING back for it.

Dev, are you crazy?? this would be the opposite of fair.... Many have not received their coins (including myself). Who is to say those undistributed coins weren't hoarded???
Please rectify this. If you don't, it will likely prove to be the death of this coin.
THIS COIN IS NOW FUCKED! We need to rename it to "UNFAIR COIN"

Don't buy any! as long as the devs clarify properly how they'll handle the problem with the lost coins.

Lets move on. Those who bitching about it being unfair you should go back to history and look at every other alt coins, they suck somewhere on their way, during launch, on mining or while on distribution and still they are doing fine with supportive community. So no point to go for relaunch, manage it well from here and it shud do fine..Those who didnt get any coins yet can be managed with bounty or giveways

I honestly don't believe the developers are lying about losing the keys, because if they wanted to cheat, they could easily distribute the coin to addresses of their own without anybody saying anything. Let's all just calm down and move forward, it's not a big deal for those who got coins, for those who did not, well take it as if there was a total number of 35mil coins and you were just a bit late.

I suggest you create Faircoin v2 and redistribute it correctly this time. 50m, 90 sec block target. Thanks
Find a way to make it faster this time.

I urge you to redistribute, maybe we can start a fund for all those who bought some?

It's only fair to give the dev a couple of days to try and fix the corrupt wallet, worst case scenario people could donate coins to the wallets that haven't been paid yet.

This one has lost ALL INTEGRITY!
To all those who call for the abandoning of FAC and creation of a new coin. Do you really trust this bunch of amateurs not to screw it a 2nd time?

I have got all my coins, however there is less coin now in the circulation its worth nothing to the coins value, because people now don't believe it.
I think we have only one solution:
Start a relaunch with the the address database already and make + 50.000 new stake, so make start the coin with an initial 100million coin, and accept + 50k new users with the same token method before.
This is the only way to make this coin the biggest.

Not a bad idea. Also, 90 s. Block target Theres nothing we can do for those who bought. Ive lost plenty of BTCs on alt launchs. Deal with it.

Again... it's all good and well to call for a start over... BUT how do we "undo" the trades already done on this thread? Or do we just tell the people who bought FAC for BTC to ask the other guy nicely for their BTC back?
