OKAY PEOPLE. SERIOUSLY.
REMOVE YOUR BUY ORDERS, ALL OF THEM. I don't know if Busoni (dev of Poloniex) has stopped FAC deposits.
My fear is that people can sell for BTC now, and when Busoni rollbacks to the past blockchain (before fork), everyone will have their coins back in their wallet.
I've never actually went through a fork like this, but I do know DOGE and WDC have forked in the past. I don't know about what happens to trading on exchanges. Buy at your own risk.
but how can anyone send faircoins to the exchange when everyone's coins are orphaned? Pabloangello, depends on whether the dev is capable of rolling back to the last 'good' block. shadypepe, well, the attacker can probably send his coins to Poloniex. That's what I fear. I actually don't know the technicalities, but some people say it's even possible to create transactions, rollback, and confirm them again at a later point, which would completely destroy FAC. I think we'll have to ask someone more knowledgeable, unfortunately.

You need to do this ASAP, dev. Or else the attacker could essentially edit all the past transactions and reward himself with the coins, deposit into exchanges, withdraw BTC, etc. The possibilities for an attacker are endless at this point.
Hope you know what to do, or else we're fucked for real

I can not withdraw FAC from nxt-e. Because the network has forked. If you withdraw you will lose so they have stopped withdrawals to protect your money. The Dev will have to create a new wallet and then you can withdraw your coins after the exchange updates their wallet.

Most likely scenario for this is that the blockchain gets rolled back, any transactions after the fork will just disappear, everybody's wallet will look like it did immediately before the fork. Of course, the BTC blockchain will not be rolled back, so those sides of transactions will remain intact. Looks like a very clever scam utilising the low network hashrate against the coin because there is so little reward for miners, You can expect this to happen again unless net hash is increased a lot. Also, don't like the use of the word "if" in the dev's post......
