Really? I expected a huge dump! In that case, I can buy in more cheap FAC before it landing on Mintpal.  LEt them dump, once fac is no more in dumpers hands, we can build up the price ourselves. |

FAC dissapeared from nxt-e. Looks like owner was informed and reacted.  Yes, but too late. I feel surprised that they are so unprofessional. Their react is so slow even some guys informed them early. |

Could of been worse, it could of happened after we got on mintpal.
I have set my wallet to mine, to help the network.
I would like to know what the dev is doing to prevent this from happening in the future?
Maybe he could make it worth while for people to mine this coin??

This is the most SHIT coin I have ever seen. Since the first day it corrupted on distribution, lost 35M coins.
It should change its name to SHITCOIN.
How come anyone still try to do any business with this coin.
Now 51% attack? I can't help come up with this conspiracy that dev team is manipulating this coin to make himself rich.
How I think it's time to abandon it. Gods knows what could happen to this shit coin again.
Flee away. No exchange will accept this coin any more.
lost 35 mill coins? there has not been a guy selling over 35 million faircoins since the coin got into exchange websites. there is currently 4. and 2 of them is not trading cause its abandoned websites literally, nxt-e and poloniex. there has not been even been traded 35 mill faircoins back and forth in total (in history) on the trade websites. so this attacks wont really affect you. you dont loose anything unless you bought faircoins from this guy with the fake faircoins. Not 35M, it's 15M. Look back to the thread. After couples hours of first distribution, dev claimed the database was corrupted and could not recover 15M coins. God knows what happened. If it's not "CORRUPTED", then it's like dev premine 30% of the coins plus who knows how many coins it distributed to himself "FAIRly". This coin is dead. Just flee for your own sake. You are just spamming, right? Try to make a panic sell before FAC being on Mintpal. So you can buy a lot of cheap FAC. Are you still think mintpal will list this shit coin after this? You are just one of dev team who has not dump enough. Big scam coin. |

Just unlock it ?
Yes, you need to unlock your wallet (if encrypted) for the minting to happen. To unlock the wallet only for minting, you can enter this command in the Debug Window (Help menu): walletpassphrase PASSPHRASE 31536000 true
replacing PASSPHRASE by your passphrase. 31536000 is the number of seconds to keep it unlocked (one year, in this case), and “ true” means the wallet is unlocked only for minting (not spending). |

Backup your wallet.dat in a safe place. delete all the old files including the files in Appdata/Roaming/FairCoin/ download the new wallet unzip and run it replace the wallet.dat with your old wallet.dat file. |
