50M premined omfg . The dev dump will be great
lol another ignorant coming here without any knowledge. Lol first Blackcoin fans come here to bash now its myriadcoin fans i guess faircoin is getting popular??? lol The better this coin performs and the more positive its outlook the more morons and trolls we will attract. It's a good sign that Faircoin is beginning to encroach on territory these people thought could only be occupied by their coin.

How do I start minting with Faircoin? I have on my wallet receiving transactions almost from a month ago and still nothing is happening.
I looked around the web and there was a suggestion that you need to encrypt your wallet first. Is that true?
30/90 days min/max weightI don't know about encrypting, but you need at least 30 days coin age for minting to start -aka- your coins have to be in your wallet for at least 30 days. After 30 days you'll start minting (generating new coins). You'll can mint for 60 days, ti'll 90 days coin age. it doesn't stop at max age. Max age is just that your coins are not getting more weight, so let's say you have 1000 FAC for 21 days, the weight is 21000, this is maxed out at 90 days. So the weight of those 1000 FAC at 90 days = 90000. the weight is used to compared mature blocks (older than 21 days) among each other. It also gives the chance to smaller blocks to eventually stake. Simple math will tell you that smaller blocks will take more time then bigger blocks to stake because their weight will necessarily be smaller at the same age (days). 1000 FAC at 21 days = 21000 weight 10000 FAC at 21 days = 210000 weight Passed the 90 days mark, you DON'T lose interest and you will still stake at some point, it's just that the weight will not grow any further. for instance, 1000 FAC at 90 days = 90000 weight 1000 FAC at 100 days = 90000 weight Hope this clarifies some of your concerns

Just incase anyone was doubting that we will be moving up from here - check out the market depth graph. There is very little in the way of resistance stopping us from reaching 2300!

No doubt the FAC will follow the same way as BC: 2000-3000 satoshi and then 5000 satoshi and finally up to 10k satoshi. Nothing can stop it to the moon.

try resendtx, if doesn't work try repair wallet, if it doesn't work, backup wallet and start the client with -salvagewallet switch, maybe you sent the transaction while the client was out of sync and it got stuck

Not sure if the max weight was reduced as well or kept at 90. Dev? My earliest receiving transactions are from 16th March, so more than 21 days. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Is there an API command I can use to check if wallet is ready for minting? just make sure your wallet is unlocked (if you proteced it with a password), then you need to leave it open and eventually you will get some stakes.

Downtrend is only due to BTC being down. Most don't realize that. BTC is rated against the dollar or euro. But ALTs are rated against BTC. It's a compound effect. So when BTC falls 20%, ALTs should remain locked or fixed at the price they are at compared to BTC, but they fall too. So when btc is down is when you should buy the ALTs... Because your leverage is so much stronger when BTc rebounds which it will. I don't think most people get that. All I see is uptrend. Back to 1800-2200. Started at 600-700 satoshi. Going between 1400-2700. Amazing spreads...... This coin is fantastic for trading the last few days. I don't see anything less than 10,000 satoshi target over the next few weeks. It's a set it and forget it coin. It's only going to keep trending up.

Volume is second highest on Mintpal atm. Traders alone will get the price up over time and then the usual innovation will stem off from the developer and community; peripheral services, merchant adoption, charity donations.... just like any other coin. What would be refreshing is something totally innovative for FAC, I'm trying to think of an original or unique concept, but it's easier said than done!

We are entering the phase that BC was at in terms of price when it went up to 5000 satoshi. Not saying that will happen with FAC this very day... but it's in that section of the charts if you line them up side by side as has been posted before.
I think that "human mined" coins are being put to the test here. It's been admitted that even with skills that you HAD to use human time and a lot of human typing to claim your extra FAC if you wanted to push it and get more. Kind of like huntercoin but way faster. Would be interesting to expand on that in other coins.
But anyways ya... The next few days could get pretty fun.

Only difference is faircoin is achieving all of this without a big help of the multipool Only 70 mh right now and look at what faircoin is achieving so it is all about how our community is involved in!

Don't worry about this Blackcoin pump - It was one large order that did it, likely the Multipoool paying what it must to feed the miners. When people realise they are buying into a pump and then dump for a small loss they will come back to FAC and take us to 2200
