Awesome to see us hit 3020 on Mintpal a little while ago! I remind people to be careful and not go dumping because it is clearly more likely than not that you will not be able to buy back the same number of coins for less than you sell them for. Many people have been burnt trying to dump and then buy back cheap and as you can see from the 24 hour graph it hasn't worked out too well for them.

Buy and hold. You have seen with Blackcoin these past 24 hours how the only winners are those who buy and hold - play it safe and increase your portfolio value Smiley

People getting squeezed out right now at 2700

Yep - If there happy with walking out at 2702 then that's fine, personally, I will wait till at least 6000 before I consider selling a single coin - If Blackcoin coin can hit 18,000+ with 35% more coins then Faircoin sure as hell can! The beauty of our position is we are not testing the waters - Blackcoin has already paved the way to big things for us, they have demonstrated how far a coin can go from humble beginnings and we are in the privileged position of being where Blackcoin was say 3 weeks ago! This is your opportunity to be early adopters and hold coins worth a tonne of BTC in a few weeks time (if that!). Be quick though - there just arent enough on offer at these prices, people are far more careful with their coins than the Blackcoin folk when they were in this stage - the difference for us is that there is very little doubt that the price will go up based on what we have seen with Blackcoin. When you can on the balance of probabilities predict a constant overall rise in price only those who are uninformed or perhaps a little too greedy will sell, the rest will buy as many as they can and just sit and watch the show Smiley

Anyone else having wallet issues? I tried redownloading the qt and still it wont synch, stuck on the same block from when I synched a week ago.

Working fine here. Try making sure it is not blocked by Windows Firewall - Had that problem with the Mooncoin wallet a while back - Just need to allow it through the Firewall on both Public and Private networks.

The dump of Blackcoin has started - Be ready for an influx of buys on Faircoin as people take their profits and look to quickly reinvest Smiley

I am wondering where people have got so much coins? I guess it's Dev and someone who claimed 100x times.

the age of the coins in your wallet must be at least 21 days, if they have not sat for that long  they will not mint

Btw past 3000 satoshi mark on Mintpal!!!

The 7 BTC sell wall at 3200 was removed just now.

With BC at 19,000 satoshi then proportionally FAC would hit 25,000 satoshi (x1.33 with 50 million coins versus 74).
These types of coins will rule the landscape for awhile. BC and FAC will be the first and the king and queen for a long time.

3900 sat on Poloniex  Grin Grin

Yep its going big this time - I expect a new floor at 4400 Sat. One thing is for sure, we will not be going back under 3000 for a very long time - not when people are paying 3900 sat on Poloniex!

Here let me help you pull your head out of your anus. Along with all the other fud spreadders that keep showing up.

I mined blackcoin from day 1 got about 400k coins. Then I bought roughly 1.2 mill more when it was between 500-1500 range. Sold some not long ago. Then I proceeded to buy over 1 mill fac coins with my bc profits. Hope this helps you attain where the rich list comes from. Only a idiot puts all of his eggs in one basket. Even investors in the stocks and retirement funds spread out your money in different holdings. I hold decent size bags in bc, mint, ecc and now fac. I hope this helps your on your future investments.

I sold some around 2900 and could not get back in for hours. Had to buy at 3000+.
Keep that in mind when you sell while FAC is at it's stable points.

BC people just made tons of Bitcoin -- they are coming to FAC now on Mintpal.
Same thing happened with DOGE on cryptsy waaaay back in the day.

I am thinking that 5,000 satoshi mark will be ... soon.

Hmm, I have 1K and trying to mint it for a week. Did not minted a single dime. What is wrong?

i have a few k myself and dont believe im able to mint properly...

latest wallet, stays synced. i can leave it open for a few days(and have) and nothing... ive been monitoring it for around a week.
one time it actually did stake off 1000 coins, but just the one time. im not sure what triggered it.

i got coins distributed each day from the first day to the last day of distribution(3/10-3/17?)... i never transferred any coins out,
but upgraded the wallet. im well beyond minimum coin weight to stake.

seems kind of odd theres not more minting happening. seems either something is wrong, or
you just need to leave the wallet open for more than a few days at a time to mint?

For minting each wallet address is selected at random, yes you want to always leave it open if your wallet isn't accessible than the network moves on if your wallet address was selected. So basically leave it open and if your lottery number comes up it will mint, if it's not open the network selects another address.

thanks for the response
i guess im used to seeing mint and zeit just mint away if its ready, and within a few hours, usually a few minutes. it must be the 10 minute block times??  NEEDING the wallet to be open for days for a chance to stake 1 share seems a bit ridiculous.

edit -- and now that i reread your reply, i have a hard time with the way you describe the pos process as "lotteryesque"...  that is not my understanding of how the system works.

It's official you will not see under 2500 ever again. Maybe 3000 ever again either.

As the US sleeps.
