I agree with kiklo on this one. TZM had their chance last year to stand with us, and they passed it up and even mocked us along the way. Some of the TZM "leaders" even put out an official statement basically condemning the original devs' attempt to attend ZDay and went on record saying that they wanted nothing to do with us because, in their minds, cryptocurrency is no better than fiat currency.

Furthermore, the fact that they are even entertaining Keiser's coin is because of his somewhat celebrity status. Just more proof that TZM has lost its way from what it was started to be. They are nothing more than global sell-outs nowadays.

It still shouldn't stop us from trying to advertise to their members tho. I agree that leadership is a lost cause, but the membership can still be a different story. There is something to be said about branding, and I think that the membership is in need of....shall we say......new leadership. Wink

TZM leadership has lost their way, so I see the TZM audience members as potential recruits, and the people who are most likely to be friendly to what TCM has to offer (esp once we explain that we see Zeitcoin as a necessary stepping stone to an eventual world-wide acceptance of a resource-based economy).

So, you are saying that you failed to convince the TZM with a logical argument? Don't forget that there were many scam coins out there, all making pretentious claims. Perhaps as time has gone on their attitude has changed. Why don't we try again? Abby Martin is the main guest speaker at the Zeitgeist event in Berlin. I believe she is Bitcoin friendly. She also has Peter Josef's ear having interviewed him on her television show.

Incidentally, I don't think that you read the reference material in my posts properly, if at all. The Keiser Twitter post seems to have been a spoof with a doctored Peter Josef YouTube video where he appears to endorse Startcoin, but when compared to the original, he doesn't. There was a Startcoin post on the TZM forum, to which I added my bit.

I applaud your passion, but TZM leadership is not needed for the ZCM or ZeitKnights to achieve our goals.
Zeit will be Global All are welcome to join ZCM.

Zeit will become the virtual resource the world needs and we will make it happen.

ZCM will be a Unifying force.

Just so no Misunderstanding , let me repeat
All are Welcome at ZCM.

I think you misunderstand me mate. Wink

I'm not advocating for TZM style leadership. I'm saying that when members of TZM "rank and file" see us getting real results and have a much more positive and realistic message (as opposed to the TZM leadership, which has all the vibes of a conspiracy cult), then we'll see growth in our community.

Right now the goal needs to be community growth, and that means finding as many like-minded people and drawing them to our cause as much as possible. While some might come from the crypto community (and the inherently libertarian nature of such folks), I think we'll find a LOT of such people in the TZM, many of whom I am SURE are HIGHLY dissatisfied with the "leadership".

BTC has arrived - that's not the problem.
But one of their daemons are down or has forked.

Try to find this transaction: c78ca968d690ab5979f0a0fd46a8e0781430ecb2d99b9f6664b0b7dfed722049 ;-)
You will find newer transactions, but not this one. Interesting.

It looks like blockchain.info is Stuck on Block 345507 , 5 hours or more ago.

http://btc.blockr.io is at Block 345539 .
So your Transaction should show up on it.
