The Zeit Block Explorer on multifaucet is being bombarded by IP Addresses
with No Subver, version should be 2.0.1.6 or 2.0.1.5 , the never updated guys would be .072

Hi kiklo,

Subversion isn't important imo - but the protocol version.
What do you mean with being bombarded? Is there any sign of a single connection attack?

Code:
// network protocol versioning

static const int PROTOCOL_VERSION = 60007;

// earlier versions not supported as of Feb 2012, and are disconnected
static const int MIN_PROTO_VERSION = 209;

Their protocol version is 0, too.
Means -> auto disconnect.
Why doesn't it work on multifaucet?

Chainz seems to be working as usual.

Have seen 2 or 3 on chainz in the past , but at the moment none are showing up on chainz and ~7 are showing up on the multifaucet. Always wondered if those at protocol 0 could cause a freeze up of the wallet, that would require a restart to clear, no proof just a feeling.
Multifaucet has been slow in updating the new blocks for a week now.
They are minutes behind on their block updates where they used to be ~ same speed as chainz.
Something strange is going on there, did PM Grinz about it.

A further possibility:
Huobi, BTC-China and OKCoin are preparing their ZEIT walletz for the amazing "Brotherz Reunited" event.

In the making it look good to bury your money in the backyard or hiding it in a mattress News

1 of the main reasons people should switch to cryptos

The Swiss government has become the first ever to issue a 10Y sovereign bond at a negative yield.

Vic20, C64, A500, A2000, A1200, A4000. Commodore made some great machines back in the day.

In the pro crypto news column there's this:

LMAO
We should re-name it AmigaCoin at this rate!
How do you explain to a young 'un that a GREAT O/S came on a single floppy disk?
I had my 'pimped' A1200 until 'bout 97 but I started (ahem) on a Sinclair Spectrum - Elite with wireframe gfx!
The 'Amiga Forever' emulator is on this PC, still like a quick game of Speedball every now & then Wink

But hey - let's have a big 'THANK YOU' to BCT for (finally) getting avatars sorted out Grin

With https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/MarketPlace another piece of the puzzle is found.

Their MarketPlace can be used like the classifieds section once mentioned by Steve.
You can place items for sell for Zeitcoins in their Market Place.

Not much traffic yet at Cryptopia, but really digging the straightforward layout so far.

That's perfectly understandable when the crapsy price is roughly halfway between 1 & 2 satoshis - though overnight some optimist has put in a buy order for ~50 million Zeit.

I think the volume there will stay low until crapsy is stable above 240 litoshi or so - and that's at least 170 LTC of buys away.

I say more powah to the cryptsy sellers. Gotta love peeps that can't do simple currency exchange rate maths and adjust accordingly.

LTC has been in a sustained hardcore meltdown relative to BTC for over a year. With LTC @ .026BTC each last year at about this time 2 satoshis = 77 litoshis. With LTC now at a a fraction of that(0.00643BTC) 2 satoshis = 311 litoshis. Failure to observe values relative to each other can cost one dearly in a free market.

Maths are not all that difficult, but thanks for the super cheap Zeitcoin fellers. Wink

With the way LTC is continuing and even accelerating its collapse relative to BTC we could see ZEIT/BTC & ZEIT/LTC parity on exchanges at 1 satoshi within days. Shocked

Litecoin for the long protracted smash down. Feel bad for anyone that has ridden that pig down.
