Yeah still now I am using mew wallet cause I found it most secure than other wallet. If you do not loss your private key than this wallet can not be hacked by others. But if you feel afraid by using mew wallet  then you may use other wallet like matamask, hardware wallet etc.

From various sources, MyEtherWallet (MEW) are not under development and maintenance any more. Even its founders has confirmed that they are switching to develop a new platform called mycrypto and encourage everybody to move there property to there.
But IMO, MEW or mycrypto is just a gateway to access your real wallet in the blockchain, so, both of them are still fine event MEW is not maintained anymore, right?

Right now, I am still using MEW in my bounty campaigns. Even without maintenance, I am still confident that the security of MEW is intact and is able to withstand some threats to its site.

MEW is a solid gateway for your wallet, just check that you're using the real site and don't share your private keys with anyone under any circumstances

MyEtherWallet is one of the good choices wallet these days especially it's a ERC20 Wallet. It is not that complicated at all. Your wallet is definitely safe since MEW is safer than any existing Wallet.

I want to say I used the MEW over 3 years and more, it safe and never hack before, if you want to keep your wallet safely, better to use the hardware wallet or the paper wallet store it.

I too not find the any hacking or scam attempt with this Myetherwallet bro. I see the investors are really suggest the people to receive the tokens ERC20 in the ICO projects. I really do not know why people saying that they lose the fund while they having fund on this wallet.

If you want to keep the wallet safer for hacking attack. All you guys must not share the wallet information to any one. If you find the issue while accessing please check the URL one more time.

I download local version MyCrypto. It's a soft from the MEW team that work excellent locally. And after that I don't think about any phishing or DNS spoofing. It's free  Wink

I'm still using MEW as I consider it one of the safest wallets out there. It's true some of its developers left to start mycrypto project. But that doesn't mean MEW is now an abandoned project. Just ensure you prioritize your safety by ensuring you don't enter your private keys on a phishing site.
Technically MEW is just an interface for creating your wallet, and I think you've misunderstood that MEW is the safest since it's very risky moreover if you access the wallet using your private key. The safest wallet is where you can access them without giving your private key or store them offline, the hardware wallet for example. MEW itself not recommend people to use private key as a method of login, since their site always got attacked yeah it's better safe than sorry, just a friendly advice.
Most of people thinks that MyEtherWallet is safe but its not. All online wallets are risky MEW for example as you copy and paste your private keys on the web, there are some people who made MyEtherWallet's copied website and many had turn their assets into ash because of that incident that is why there is warning on Myetherwallet's website.

That is very true and on a regular basis people are loosing their funds as they get trapped by some spyware getting access to the clipboard and hence also the private key. Best thing is to use a nanoledger, then your private key will always be hidden.

The current MEW is still the most used purse, including the development team that stops upgrading and maintaining it is still the most used address today.

Yes, I am still using myetherwallet but using it through offline hardware wallet as my online MEW was compromised and I lost my holding. Offline wallets are fully secured from all infiltrations.

Yep, still using MEW and just partner it with metamask when I'm doing transactions. I think MEW is still the most popular and secure wallet to get out there for erc20 coins. I still got my coins there but thanks for the update, just now did I know about the team developing a new one. We'll just have to see the developments.

I use mostly MEW and I think that it is still quite protected. It is best to install the Metamask, which helps protect your wallet. I don't believe in other wallets, because there are a lot of unreliable.

Yes, I trust this wallet. I like to use it because it is reliable and convenient. But I do not keep all my capital in one wallet, so as not to tempt hackers.
