Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
People think they will not survive but the reality is, they will. It is not possible that such great coins will not be successful. Coins like PRG, XRP and ADA are going great and shall rise very soon.

complete nonsense, many Altcoins already have their blockchain, and in principle, even new Altcoins always think about their blockchain, because even if Bitcoin is lost, some other trusted blockchain will take its place.

I think that most will die out tokens of all sorts of different projects, altcoins will also disappear, but not as quickly and not in such a large amount as tokens.

Bitcoin together with the altcoins (not all of them) can survive and I don't see that altcoins will not survive, at least from my perspective.

If altcoins will be shut down (which I don't think because there is a lot of potential outside of bitcoin) as most people have benefits from crypto (bitcoin and altcoin together)

Probably won't survive. Because there is a huge majority of tokens that have no value at all.

Bitcoin is going to survive and most likely the altcoins would survive years from now as long as there's no huge disaster in crypto and the such.

I believe that cryptocurrency will survive and will be implemented in people's lives. I think it's too early to bury cryptocurrency.

Well, I don't think no one will disagree on the fact that many altcoins lack real life application and may certainly not stand the test if time. However, I think we should not write all altcoins off completely because I believe many are solving real problems. Personally, I have been reading whitepapers of several ICOs and trust me many have great ideas.

It all depends on what kind of altcoins. It is clear that all 100% will not be able to stay on the market, but projects that have some authority and the future, like NEO, Kamagames, Ethereum will always stand on its pedestal.

I don't believe that altcoin will not survive as long that this coin has a solid project and team who is backing it up. Definitely, those altcoins that is considered flight by night and scam will not survive. They just exist to make some money and run. There are many campaigns that I already join and I believe on those projects. They will definitely going to survive and pursue their goals.

Although I agree that right now there are too many alts that have the same objective, I think that in the end investors will know what to invest their money in, if they see that an altcoin is coming to market but it looks a lot like EOS (for example) I think it is better to invest in EOS directly because it is quite consolidated and has passed the test of time.

Today there are really quite a few projects that can be in demand in society and have certain values in the cryptocurrency market. But if the team is really professionals, then they hold the tokens, not spreading them, or block the token in their wallets. Thus, they do not reduce the price of a coin.

which says Bitcoin won't survive is pessimistic, if we see https://coinmarketcap.com as a benchmark then we will see around 2000 more Altcoin in circulation and survive until this day, so don't believe too much with the pessimistic talk  Cheesy

That's a big impossible if all altcoins can take it for the last because only bitcoin only will survive if this will happen.

In my opinion, altcoin will be one of the main coins that will help the money market grow so if the altcoin does not exist it will probably never be more developed.

Altcoins will survive but the real question is how many of them will be survived. I think there are gonna be a lot of dead altcoins but the real stronge and trustable altcoins will survive because they have community.

People already said this too many times and altcoins are still here and the strong one will continue to survive. It's true that some of them won't survive in the long term but that is up to you in what are investing in as you don't want to loose money.

Altcoins  will survive for sure. As long as their is ICO and investors and that will make the community roll because of the new project that will the community. As long as there are investors who are supporting good quality project and company who will develop a project that will make our community a good one altcoin will be there and always be there. There are lots of coins that have potential that why altcoins is still in market and making its name. Ethereum is much stable than bitcoin for the past months.

I don't get it , alts to me is best way to get more btc in cryptocurrency trading but not all will survive truly but you need to do due diligence on your investment too by doing research and see if the coin has potential to add value to the ecosystem with great team and great product.
