Hello,

I would like to ask for some help - I have problems with syncing of Execoin Wallet (0.8.6.2) - it is stucked on 43846 blocks. I've already tried rescan and also deleted the blockchain files and synced from 0 blocks again only with ending by 43846 blocks.

I appreciate any help.

My take on Current the current EXE status

Photo 1 Showing The network hash rate pre & post price increase

Photo 2 Showing Price chart during price increase.

In summary, some one bought quite a bit of the sell book, obviously price shot up, miners caught interest, they mined, net hash went up, along with difficulty, as difficulty rose, so did the price. When Mining slowed down, so did the price. With that being said, this coin could be accepted by every single merchant known to man kind, and on every exchange, however, if people dont mine it, and its difficulty to obtain the coins remains the same or similar, there will be no substantial price gains. Geting miners to adopt this coin before the 2015 N-factor change, is key, because AFTER then, they wont touch it, as it definataly will not be profitable for the 'typical miner', as they need to factor in mining gear & electrical costs aswell. Get the word out that mining this NOW before the N-factor change could be the best possible move they could make. Charts dont lie. Charts dont fud. Charts dont HYPE. I see good efforts withinin the very few people that even post in this thread, however, if Miner adoption isnt one of the main key goals, nothing will happen of great notice.

Well, mining profitability may be increased by merge mining EXE/MON/PLX now.

BTW - I will put it down today for 5-10 minutes (not more) for maintenance.

I think it's also important to note that both network hash rate and price have settled higher than they were previously.

It has settled at a new floor, one about double what it was a bit ago. It's a great value to buy right now. Lots of great things have been added to EXEcoin in just a few short weeks. Lots more is coming. As an above poster stated, miner adoption is very important. Tell your friends about EXEcoin. Spread the word. And stock up!

Indeed.

I'll be bringing about another 2MH/s online today or tomorrow.

Difficulty is nice and low still and it's good for gobbling up easy coins.

If you just downloaded it you probably have the correct one (I had this issue about the time the gravity well was added), you could be on a fork?  Try deleting the blocks that it already has and starting the download over... You could add a public p2pool node from http://exe.p2pools.info/ using addnode=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to ensure you get a good node this time around, probably isn't needed though.

Fearing ASICS is like fearing Electricity in 1900. If you fight against technological improvements you will LOSE every SINGLE time.

Technology always advances. There is plenty of room for current technology, though.

i don't think having an asic is winning. in six months when your graphic cards are old they are a computer still, in six months my ant miner is a doorstop. If asics do so well for btc then why is it so damn slow.
