    Not all the people all over the world using bitcoin because not all countries are accepting bitcoin. Bitcoin also is still at developing process. We need to wait more time to know the total adoption of bitcoin in the future. Maybe some of the people are here in crypto world just to earn and make a better living out of bitcoin. we as bitcoin hunters cannot do anything in dealing with the government, because their regulations are absolute and must be obeyed. for now, bitcoin is considered negative by some governments, but we must continue to support it, at least to eliminate the negative side of bitcoin is enough ... !!

We not need to change, but we need to wait more. Cryptocurrency are not only for profit. Yes,it is mde because it is need to online as a digital money. And it is not made for profit. I think you're the one who's not understanding things. The point of my post is that we shouldn't care about who does or thinks what.

The price is going down for the simple reason that the mad demand of last year is no longer there, and the market needs to adjust itselfs to that by finding the right (way lower) level to settle at. It happened after the 2013 bull run and it happens again. It doesn't require rocket scientist level of knowledge to understand that.

I know what you were trying to say but that doesn't apply to the reasoning of 99% of the people here.

The problem with most of those posts that ask people to care about Bitcoin, to endure for the community, to sacrifice their first newborn, just laments from the ones that are desperate now that the price is going down.

Have you heard any of these calls for the community, for the tech behind the coin, for the ten commandments of Satoshi when the price was pumping? Nobody gave damn, everybody was just..."wall street incoming!!!!"

Sometimes I wonder if BTC drops to 50 how many will still be around talking on how BTC is great and improving their lives.

Probably not many, because that would indicate that something went horribly wrong with crypto in general.

Out of pure curiosity, do you have a price level for BTC where we can say something has gone horribly wrong?   Like 1000, 600, or I really nailed it at 50?

In the end we all are here for the money in some way. If anybody tells you that he is here for the tech, he is lying.

We know the tech behind btc is good, That's why we expect big returns for investing in it and I see nothing wrong with it.

Well being a want  to be millionaire is what pushes every industry, there is no harm in it. Henry Ford didn't make the assembly line for the good of man he did it to produce more cars cheaply. Innovation comes from an attempt to outdue the competition and win.

that is the world of business, there is indeed no word of peace that is only profit and loss, but for those of us who still have a conscience, profits in the field of buying and selling must be balanced with the effects we have to think about whether it will harm many parties for the benefit of a handful of parties, or we can make many parties feel lucky

it is partly our own fault though. you can't always blame others. for example you mentioned something about not being able to spend bitcoin to purchase things you want. the question is, have you really searched to see if it is impossible to buy that thing with bitcoin or are you making an assumption? because i have seen many who were just assuming they can't spend bitcoin but they could.

Yes. For example, if I want to buy something from Amazon, there is Purse.io which lets you purchase from Amazon using bitcoin, however, the things I want (Electronics, to be specific) are not available there, and they only have a few products. Online stores where I live won't accept bitcoin as a payment. Another example, Steam. When they supported bitcoin as a payment method, I bought every game I had on my wish list using bitcoin (I have spent more than 0.25BTC on Steam, not much, I know), then they stopped accepting bitcoin during the insanely high fees period last year, which turned me down (I know there are third–party Steam keys resellers like G2A, cdkeys, etc. which accept bitcoin, however, I wanted to support bitcoin on Steam to let them know that it is needed and being utilised as a payment option).

By the way, I don't blame merchants, retailers, and businesses for refusing bitcoin as a payment option, I know business is business.

I want to be a millionaire and I don't think there's something wrong with it. For as long as I'm not scamming people and making any evil schemes, I know that I'm doing the right and fair thing. I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

I think the most common reason that we are here is because to earn as Bitcoin is an investment that we could earn more fiat. Therefore it is natural to all people in here to become worry about there investments as Bitcoin as a currency is just a second reason and that is why many people are afraid to join this investments as they are now in doubt if they will really earn in this investments because they are not worrying if what currency that they will use in spending but they are worried if their fiat will grow here or not.

Well i got your point it is also correct that the real reason of bitcoin is to be a currency but it is not used as that rather it is used as an investment to earn more money but i think there's no problem with that as long as people do not do bad things or evil schemes it is natural for us to dream to be a millionaire as long as we do not scam or take advantage them our dream makes us strive harder even it is far or high like the stars it will make us go beyond our limitations wanting to reach that goal so for me there is no problem with that mentality as long as you do not do bad things to other people.
