Whilst the jury is still out on the viability of this particular cryptocoin project, the sheer number of prejudiced and outright ignorant comments about the native American people, often by first-world American people, speaks volumes about the continuing problem of racism in society.
I think it is disgusting that people here who put faith in an anonymous person like Satoshi or the creator of AUR attack a public person like Payu Harris and call him a scammer or a crook, excuse me, he is going out to the world, revealing himself and giving interviews to Forbes and WSJ. Sorry but I trust someone more who puts their name to a project than someone who doesn't, end of story.

Let Sussex fucking rant, I'm tired of people ignoring one side of the argument. Its called confirmation bias, and its something 12 year olds do. No need to get defensive.
Does this coin have potential? Yes. Is it a shot in the dark? Yes.

He even called MazaCoin the 'new Buffalo.' Many altcoin devs are get rich quick schemers

""We’ve gone through 100 years of imposed poverty. That’s the fight we’re having," he says. "What we’re trying to do with MazaCoin is just spark something to get us out of this cycle of victimhood."
Pretty sobering stuff when compared to a bunch of privileged whining crypto day-traders on the internet all declaring that this currency is either a scam or it will make them a gazillionaire.

There's ranting and then there's ranting on every fucking page. Give it a rest already and yes most of us DO see both sides of it and the risk it involves much like every other fucking coin that has been and will come

I'm hardly ranting, I'm posing thoughts and being told to fuck off . what name does that emotion have? The fact of the matter is that this has been on the front of the RT website, it doesn't get any better than that, the Verge article is meaningless. At the very least, even if you hate me that much, you would have increased your investment by 50% had you listened to me, checked out what I was saying and then sold. How does that make me a fool?

Honestly we could already be past the max this coin has hit, who knows exactly. I want to see it rise though - for the people of the lakota nation so sussex can suck it .

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

When I got into crypto, I went in with only one goal in mind, just to make enough money to buy a house. If I got rich doing it, that would be great, but a lot of people in the Bitcoin game are truly delusional and all think it is a guaranteed path to obscene riches. There is no guarantee even Bitcoin will be successful. All those people who bought Bitcoin for pennies on the cheap, i'm saying it now, you are LUCKY, it wasn't a game of skill and you really didn't take a huge risk considering how cheap it was at one point, you got lucky because nothing is guaranteed in life. If you are wealthy you should be blessed with what you have, but I see so many guys like the mods and famed trollboxers at BTC-E for example bragging about what lambo or Benz they will be buying next year and acting like they are kings of finance while talking sh-t about new coins, I guarantee you they were all geeks 4 years ago sitting in their parents basement playing Warcraft. This is why I support Mazacoin, Harris is not going out there claiming he will make his tribe stinking rich but to help pull them out of poverty, a very noble cause in my book.
