El reparto y el preminado parece ser que es totalmente diferente. El lanzamiento de la pesetacoin fue una mierda , la dificultadad era demasiado alta en el inicio , eso no se lo cree nadie, estuvieron minando antes de sacarla , eso si que no es serio. Para mi la pesatacoin esta muerta , esta tiene una oportunidad.

Totalmente cierto, el lanzamiento de Pesetacoin fue un desastre (básicamente unas pocas ballenas se quedaron los bloques de la primera media hora de lanzamiento aprox...) Yo estaba ahí. Los pools no estaban preparados, las características para el minar solo no salieron, en fin.. (toda una chapuza muy marca españña, por otra parte).

No creo que el desarrollador preminara (parece buena gente, y le pone ganas al proyecto), pero no se enteraba mucho de lo que hacía y el resultado es que la moneda está en manos de unos pocos guiris. Yo minar y promocionar para enriquecer a unas pocas ballenas, paso.

Suerte con el proyecto, muchos os estaremos observando de cerca

Respeto tu opinión aunque no la comparto.
El hecho de repartir monedas entre los españoles facilitará su distribución y permitirá que gente ajena al minería o sin recursos para comprarla/minarla, pueda utilizarla como medio de pago en un futuro próximo.

Al carro de las cripto-monedas se sube quien quiera o pueda y no tiene nada que ver con la pesetacoin.
Como español espero que les vaya bien con el proyecto. Es más si los podemos ayudar, lo haremos.

Realmente si no te parece seria esta moneda, no hay ningún problema. Nadie te obliga a minarla o comprarla ni tampoco te van a llegar a tu casa por correo.

No existe ninguna moneda nacional. No hay nada oficial, PesetaCoin es sólo otra moneda scrypt más de las miles que hay en la red.

Se llama libertad de mercado. Y repartir la moneda no es ni mucho menos inconcebible, basta con hacer una web que implemente el inicio de sesión mediante el chip del dni electrónico, y varias tandas para asegurar que todo el premine se reparta.

The Dev behind it is very resourceful and capable. I hope he can now implement some changes in distribution and it could be another Aurora / Maza

Pesetacoin will never be like Aurora or Maza just beacause will be never a giveaway for all citizens. I can agree with the good dev with the technical things... but what about marketing?

Go to main square in Madrid, ask for digital Pesetacoin to 1000 persons. You know what? nobody will know what is that.

Maybe the same will hapen with Spaincoin, so my advise for dev is:

do a good thread here,
do a good website (look at https://www.ethereum.org/),
do a huge marketing (use webservices to send a press release to all spanis media... you will have to pay little for that, but you really need if you want the coin become succesful)
do a good launch, (avoid forks, avoid instamine, avoid errors)

But I am not 100% sure if Peseta Coin couldn't be changed. Maybe a giveaway is still possible.. somehow. I don't know. Maybe the community staying behind it could approve such change.

Confieso que soy novato en este mundillo, pero no entiendo por qué no pueden haber dos criptomonedas "españolas" o más.

Al fin y al cabo será la comunidad la que decidirá si hay espacio para ambas, o para una o para ninguna...

De hecho me sorprende que no exista ya una CatalanCoin, EusKoin, MadriCoin, etc, etc, etc.

ok, I dont hate "pesetacoin" but I have concerns about it.

In short: The launch of pesetacoin was a mess, and as you know the start of a new currency is really important.

As a miner/investor, I don't like currencies that had a bad launch. In my experience:

bad launch = a few people control the currency = fail in short or long term (or/and a few people get rich)

Many coins had a lot of problems during launches and / or in development process (look at DOGE, LTC, BTC etc.) but I think the development went in the right direction and now Peseta Coin is one of the most developed and "high-end" coins out there, with KGW and merged mining implementations.
