Hi Mike. I've been trying to get a hold of you since Monday about a set of 10 gridseed and boards that you sent out. You shipped very quickly, thank you. However, you promised during the purchase that you would walk me through setting them up. BTW, I paid an extra BTC more than most people you are selling these to.

I cannot find any information about how to use the board or the psu you sent. Since you won't answer my emails or voicemail, I plugged the board into my network, did a ip scan to find out what IP it was using and then used NMap to see what ports it was listening on, but nothing showed up. Please answer me. I have had 10 units sitting on my desk since Monday doing nothing.

If anyone else in the forums knows how to set up the boards that Zoom Hash is sending us, I would appreciate the help. It looks like an older Raspberry PI unit with an SDcard already plugged in there. It also came with a second board with 13 usb inputs, obviously for the gridseeds to plug into. However, I do not want to guess about splicing the psu to power the gridseeds and I have no idea how to access the main card. I manually tried telnet, http, and https in addition to the port scan and there was no response to anything. I would really like to get this going. This is a test order before I place more.

Order #1412

Thanks!
Michael

do you run the modified cgminer with them? or cpu miner?

with multiple on a PC do you need multiple instances of cpuminer (if not using the cgminer)

I'm just about to order my first from zoomhash, just a single first to try out. If it works great, will get in bulk to replace my power hungry GPU rigs Smiley

Edit:
Placed the order for one standalone gridseed.

Edit 2:
Actually I changed my mind after speaking to some people who have been using these. Ordered another 10 Smiley ... now please ship as soon as possible Cheesy ... If this goes well, I'll start replacing the rest of my gpu rigs.

Edit 3:
I couldn't see the option to add PSU barrels. Is there any way I can get these from you?

I do not run my cgminer for them I run it for ant miners.

One thing they need to do is have a 2 speed fan .  set it on low speed for ltc only

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I wanted to buy just one for testing this out so I don't want to buy a  full blown separate power supply or anything yet. So I suppose if I get this AC adapter http://www.ebay.in/itm/12V-5A-POWER-ADAPTER-SMPS-POWER-SUPPLY-FOR-LED-AND-OTHER-EQUIPMENTS-/181343625932?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item2a38ec22cc   and connect the Gridseed device to my PC via my mobile's data cable (micro USB) and installed the specific CGminer version, I could hash away at 300KH?

Or this http://www.ebay.in/itm/Universal-Notebook-Charger-Adapter-Power-Supply-for-Laptop-12V-to-24V-96W-/301109513618?pt=IN_Laptop_Desktop_Accessories&hash=item461b868d92

I am going to run one on this. People over at reddit have been using it without issues
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TUMDWG/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For my other 10 that I'm receiving next week, going with a CX600 psu (since I already have a spare one from an older desktop pc).

Guys, I might be able to clear out all my orders by Friday. We have a huge boat load of asics coming early Cheesy. All batches will get there shipped 4-14 days early!

Can I get some love?

This is great!  I got my batch 5 order for 2 yesterday and they are hashing away.  If your sending Batch 8 and batch # out that early I'm "lovin it"!

Thanks!!!

I thought the inner diameter was supposed to be 2.1mm. If that one you linked works then I have a spare Adapter for my LCD monitor with 12v 5A 60W that should work. Just perfect! Thanks for pointing out.
