My kit shipped Tuesday from Hong Kong, and I had it Thursday.

Too bad most of my stuff doesn't work, but it DID get delivered promptly.

my order cleared customs. instant. no document sending this time

...finally a seller who declares right value and includes an invoice?

Try switching out usb cabels. i had one cable that did not work.

tip if i help you. doge: D7zzbMR9mxmtDQWWNfrRGY5fFNUnrwexSQ or BTC: 1Fot8CrsuxcZUw6qYX3sVpNo5MDtaf7ZS2

Hi.

I ordered 24/03 1x10 GridSeed pack
I received yesterday 27/03 (very very fast), everything installed correctly, after 1 hour of minig (Dogecoin) 1 PSU is burned, resulting.......  death of 4 miners.  Embarrassed Embarrassed
I see that you are not the only one that happened.
What should I do for the RMA?

Thank you.

Okay, I did this, ran through the configuration and don't see anything happening.  I do screens and all 5 processes are "detached"

Ideas?  Or just use scripta?

do a : sudo screen -ls this lists the active screens and take note of the session number in the format of 2XXX.X
then do a: sudo screen -r 2XXX.X

it will attach you to one of the screens and you will see one of the miners working away, to detach hold down control-a-d and you will be returned to command line

Still no response from Zoom Hash for me after 24 hours. Like others here I seem to have been sold a defective product and I'm not happy. Has anyone had any response?

secondly did you run dual or only scrypt.

this gear is a beast for scrypt.  and mining dual is a mistake.

lastly  I use these to power 2 running scrypt

How long did it take for you to get a response? Did they replace your units? I received a new power supply today and tested them. Not good news for me, two wont power on and the other 8 power up but no red light and aren't being detected by my PC.

Mining only scrypt, I mined about 300 dogecoin, then it was burnt PSU with the miners attacked.

to look outside the PSU does not seem to be damaged, same thing 4 GS, but do not work. if i try to install them on your PC, they are not even recognized on the usb port. the remaining 6 GS work well.

looks like power supplies are defective.

I would advise my solution  1x 6 amp  brick and 1 splitter runs 2 grids perfectly .

yeah I now have 7 bricks  with 7 splitters running 14 grids ,

but  if 1 brick blows up I lose 2 grids not 5..

also for the wiring challenged   these are the perfect  dc plugs:

blue is cool and red is dead

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/82-12675

when correctly hooked up the are blue.   I run 1 gridseed this way.

@gbyg thanks for the help, I've sent another two emails. It's never nice waiting when I would rather be mining  Smiley

@philipma1957 I'm going to avoid the bricks from now on I think, I'm worried they would burn down my house. I've gone for an ATX psu with the 12v to 6 pin connectors. More trusted territory for me.

be careful make sure that all center pins are +  .

Buy a cheap meter to test.

also remember that a pcie cable can have a lot of watts 150 or more.  wire handle with care.

While I'm waiting for my equipment to come, any suggestions for RPi images?

I was just going to use the one on zoomhash's site.  Would it handle 20 GS?

Any experiences with Scripta?  And would BAMT work?

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

I found modified scripta for GS is best because it comes with web control.

I'm on vacation right now but will follow up with them when I get back into town.  I'm just going to RMA the entire thing.  I confirmed only 2 gridseeds work out of 10.
