Please.. someone put up a working pool. I have 10MH I want to throw at this ASAP.

Mine solo, Diff is incredibly low !

Fuck... My computer guy who sets me up is in a rush, he says it takes long to set up 5 rigs to solomine, that means 5 wallets.

How long should the set up take so I can tell him hes crazy and it take no time. am I right?

let all rigs mine to the the same wallet in the network...

how to do that? What is the conf file  for that?

look a few pages ago...just copy the cgminer and .conf of both (change username and pass of course)

Hehe what a shock you approve after apparently syncing up on block 2

LUCKILY though, everyone else who did NOT sync on block 2 or before the diff rocketed will bust this scam coin dead in a few hours.

Synced on block 2 lol ... diff was about 0.000000002 then so congratulations you scammed a ton of easy blocks that will now be worth zero.

I synced up at block 157

Code:
{
"blocks" : 157,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00024414,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 585252,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

solo mine einsteinium.conf
Code:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=10254
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

startmining.bat
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:10254 -u user -p pass

current block
Code:
{
"blocks" : 727,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.19075271,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 33899124,

0.5 % Fee, Stratum + VDiff etc.

There is something weird with the daemon, fixing now, Solomine !

Why are you spamming us with a pool that won't accept registrations?  Huh

if people were in fact able to get in on the early blocks then i don't see a problem.  someone had to get those blocks.  at least it wasn't a massive farm that got to it first and i know this because the nethash was still quite low when i got in at around 400 blocks.  i am still getting the occasional solo block with a measly 2mh/s right now.  this difficulty curve is way better than having a coin get slammed with 20gh/s right off the bat.  the method of obtaining coins from miners is actually pretty cool as well if the dev stays honest and actually donate to scientific research.  it is MUCH different than the premines we're used to.  i see so many mining coins with 1-2% premines yet what this dev offers is somehow a problem?  just stop for 2 seconds and think about it instead of coming in here with guns blazin'.  a public ledger wouldn't hurt, though.

Thanks Smiley

We will be starting into Phase two next week (we might grab a little sleep tomorrow Cheesy)

The two priorities are an official faucet and the block chain explorer.

Moving forward ALL transactions out of the Fund wallet will be publicly posted

pretty slick assed way to get a 2.5% premine actually

block reward is currently 1024, but 998.40 shows up in wallet on a block mined.

No need at all for dev to mine this at all for hisself lol

waltsmith

Hi Walt, 2% will be given away to science projects decided upon by the community, the .5% will go to faucets and give-aways. The team won't see any of the 2.5% Smiley

Oh, not saying you won't do good things with the coins. Just saying its a new thing,,,,more like a POSTMINE than a premine.

Also, means no chance of it getting dumped at an early exchange like happened with ThePandaCoin.

Oh dear.... and I was just going to do your maths for you, oh well, tough shit.

It is spam when it serves no useful purpose, like advertising a pool you can't join....

Let me explain the reason why stealth ninja lauches are BAD and open to being total scams

1. the devs can exploit this and rape all the early blocks = distribution is bad

2. the devs friends tipped off about the launch with pre configured miners ready can rape coin = bad distribution.

3. even if the dev was honest 1 or 2 people that find the post before everyone else rape the coin = bad distribution

4. the coins poorly distriubuted get less interest and die quickly.

Most NOOBs here have never synced up early on a chain and see what happens. You will get more blocks in the first few mins than you will ever mine after  weeks or mining 24/7.........actually in most cases months.

someone had to have those blocks so it doesn't matter who??? get serious.

I see you only have 1 post but please think about what you are saying first.

Let me explain something else to you..... Do you notice the same people seem to find these ninja launches first??? Yes they do.  WHY?? because they have bots that alert them to the new releases. I know this first hand as several people have proven to me they have a script that monitors ANN posts for new releases.

stealth launches are a scam end of story. Even if this dev is honest don't think for 1 second most are.

ANOTHER thing that is incorrect about is that big farms get a better start on announced launches. Simply not true.  If the diff retarget is aggressive big farms get nothing more than what their hash fairly dictates.

A big farm gets on a ninja launch fast which they do because these people take mining seriously and do have bots watching the ann threads then yes they will destroy the blocks.

Personally i have 30 blocks of this now , that is enough..... it will probably be dead in a few days.

What's up with these dogshit Qt's that only allow a few miners to connect anyway.... some QT's work perfectly and you can connect 20 rigs to the QT .... this one is another one that just refuses more than 3 or 4 rigs??

I like the idea the devs 2% gets taken gradually to allow dumping.... so i guess this coin is just a semi scam not a full scam.

Should I change "-o http://127.0.0.1:10254" to something else if the wallet is on another computer?

Yes, replace 127.0.0.0 with the IP of the other computer and remember to open the port in your firewall.

Also add

Code:
rpcallowip=your ip here
to the Einsteinium.conf file

You would also need to add this into your .conf file

rpcallowip=192.168.*.*

Then change the 127.0.0.1 to the computer that is has the wallet.
