Lebitcoin is here The first low energy Bitcoin Bitcoin LE is the world's first Proof-of-Work and low energy cryptocurrency. Bitcoin LE inherits from Bitcoin and adds a revolutionary layer aimed at reducing its energy footprint. What do you mean first low energy Bitcoin...in what way? Hi dkbit98 It means it behaves exactly like Bitcoin but uses 5x less energy. It is more energy efficient. Have a look at the whitepaper for more details. But the idea is to stick with the Proof-of-Work consensus and save energy! Until now, this was only possible with very different consensus algorithms like PoS or others. And all of those approaches have potential problems... The release comes with a simple reference CPU (multithreaded) miner, but the coin could be mined with any other hardware. There is currently no support for other types of miners. The explorer can be found in the release as well, through a JSON-based CLI.

Hi ruplikminer The CPU miner is just a reference miner. It was built for CPU so that everyone could try it out (not all people have ASICs to try the coin out). You are free to build a private ASIC-compatible miner.

I wonder how many developers are working in this project.... What exchanges are in plan, and is there Premine or no ?

No extra mining other than this.

Where's the docs on setting up a metronome?
Edit, oh wait, haha, seriously, you want users to give you their bitcoin.conf rpc information? LOL.

Wow, it's very good, so everyone can mine only using the CPU. good news. but what about the income from a few minutes of mining, and the difficulty of the coins you have not listed in exchange and not yet have a price.

samspaces This is an important question: use a clean and empty Bitcoin setup for this or connect to one of the publicly available metronomes (not available yet, but will be in the future). If you are too worried, you can always check the source code and compile it yourself. We have no tricks or scams, that is guaranteed.
