Are old coins no more profitable

There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Some of these newer coins look quite overpriced for me, and ultimately they will go down. On the other hand, the old coins still retain all the top-10 slots. The prices look depressed, and they will rally once the Bitcoin prices recover.

The top 10 coins in the marketcap are coins that are more than 3 years old, this proves that old coin is a safer investment than new coins, I never worry about holding old coins for the long term.

In my opinion, old coin have tight competition with new coin with many feature. Investor must be choosing new ICOs because they provide many information about their project. Different with bitcoin, bitcoin is old coin but its a pioneer with good network security and having a lot miner

This wrong, no matter how old a coin is as long as there are investors in the coin and people willing to put their money in it then they can make you money. It is just a matter of time just like other coins and with old coins you can be more sure that they are less likely to die out when you are holding the coins for the long term

The guarantee of safe investment in both old and new coins is vice versa because some old coin are not good for long term investment same as some new coin either and if a coin still have some investors who still put money in it doesn't mean it will yield a good return.

Not all old coins remain competitive after a long period of development, and most of them are in a downturn or even disappear. I don't think it's a good thing to hold it for a long time.

You're about the disappearance of some old coins which have the require utility to survive the crypto market and this why it is very important if ones wanted invest into old or new coins ones must invest into coins that have huge community support.

And that just like namecoin, it's even older than litecoin but it doesn't have any good development progress, the daily trade volume still remain the same.
that depends on how the vision of the project itself to create a product. remember this not all of oldcoins are so profitable in these days.

right, what happened now is not right and will likely happen again in the future. many say it will happen but the reality is different that is experienced today. I just hope what I do is to be the highest part. I hope that at the end of the year there will be a very high increase and that motivates me now.

If you see in Coinmarketcap that the price of old Coins is higher than new coins,but it depends on the team who makes the project if they are always making improvement and good development to make their Coins always active and competitive all the time.

Old coins are more safe to invest and hold for long term. It might be true that the profit is not much because they are already stable compared to the new coins. Good thing about it is your investment is safer.

Well, btc is the oldest coin out there and it is the most valuable lol.

There are plenty of older coins that are profitable.
In fact, the older the coin, the more established it gets and solidifies its value.
Newer coins are subject to speculation and can be unreliable.
That's why, like you mentioned, the top 200 is totally different from just 7 months ago.

As the market matures and things progress, it is natural for older, established projects to have the most value.
Look at something similar, the dot.com bubble.
As time went on even after the crash, companies like ebay and amazon became even more valuable as time went on.
That's because older companies have had more time to establish chunks of the market share.

Well just look at what Ripple XRP did in the last couple of weeks. The #3 coin on Coinmarketcap was able to double its value. And Doge had a huge pump recently as well... so even old coins in the top 100 still have room for huge gains.

Old Coin prices are higher than new coins, but it depends on the team making the project if they always make good improvements and development to make their Coins always active and competitive all the time.

I think old coins can still make significant gains. But it seems like the really crazy price pumps come on coins no one has heard of that burst onto the scene. I've only been lucky enough to have said coins a couple of times.

Old coins are among the best and although the profit from them may not be as large as from new tokens or altcoins, but they are more stable. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple.

maybe new tokens or altcoins can provide big profits seeing their price changes can go up thousands of percent. but the risk can be

Your opinion

It really depends on how the people behind the project, specifically the marketing department, as to how will they make their tokens become as profitable as bitcoins. There's usually a long term plan for a lot of projects we subscribe to and they indicate there their future plans of development for the token you're about to invest on.

The value of a coin is not determined by the age of the coin on the market. The worth or value of a coin to generate profit depends on its performance on the market which results from the demand of the coin on the market. Coins with good ideology or product backing are always worth holding to generate profit.

That's  a good example if you are monitoring the current flow, those two old coins are making its way to compensate the investors who keep supporting
the project, though we are seeing a lots of bloodbath and ongoing downfall, this coins manage to give some blow to rise back again, most of the time old coins who's just waiting for a good timing to pumped really provide much better gains in the long run.

I think the old coins are still profitable but not so much the price increases I know just because the price rises before they're released project but it's still profitable because they know that investors want to be new coin because the price is fast rising but the price is still falling with holds old coins with potential and longterm coin.
