Does the pending deposits section at the bottom of the "Balances" page on Cryptsy show it has 0 confirmations? I can see your transaction on my end, but it also says 0 confirms. It's probably an orphaned transaction, incorporated into a mined block that was later orphaned by another block... so your transaction is effectively on a (tiny) fork that never became part of the main chain.

If you do "repairwallet" in your client's debug screen it should recover your coins, and you can try sending them again.

Remember the 2 GLX I sent to Cryptsy the other day, they have yet to show up in my Cryptsy account balance. :|

I never send that much at first, without trying 0.1 or 1 coin, first, just saves a lot of headache. We'll see when I see my 2 GLX appear in Cryptsy.

Ivanech, your post is a valuable resource, very helpful, and it works the same way for windows users, simply by following the steps in your guide. Also, as dogfishHead pointed out, it is because the code was modified in v2.0. This will have to be fixed with an update to the client. The solution for now is as you suggested. For windows users, download 0.5, sync with bootstrap, wait for it... close and then run v2.0 to complete.

Check you are on correct blockchain and connected to some good nodes.

Where do you put bootstrap.dat?

Tried galaxycoin-qt -loadblock=bootstrap.dat but does not seems to work

1. Move your old block/database folders out of your data directory, %appdata%/galaxycoin
2. Copy the bootstrap.dat into that folder.
3. Load client, there is no need to use -loadblock, the client detects the bootstrap.dat and loads it automagicly.

It was not that I could not get it synced. It was the overwhelming amount of support tickets users were sending about syncing their wallets and being unable to withdrawal their coins safely. We also believed we had gotten on the wrong chain. I have redownloaded the chain and enabled deposits/withdrawals again.

I highly recommend the developer or supporters release a patch to allow a download of the chain from the start without issues.
