Repeating since we are on a new page:
Also, I will take my pool offline in about 15 minutes to sync up the blockchains.
That way I can be sure the blockchain I have as well as the one the pool has will be in sync.
Of course, the wallet.dat will be backed up during this process.

no this will break this coin and the idea of this coin.
Disagree; we need this to prevent multi-pools from crushing the coin (driving the difficulty up) after they get their profits and then leaving the individual miners to deal with 20+ difficulty rates. Others; I wish I had time for IRC but I can only hop in every so often. I'll look at the code and then make recommendations on the forum here. have you ever seen a coin raise in value after a KWG? never, they hit 1 sat then die. the whole idea behind KWG, and ... leaving the 'individual miners'... hmmmm. I guess nobody sees what I do.

Important: AFTER you followed the instructions in the video, your final galaxycoin.conf file should look like this: listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=**Yourusername** rpcpassword=**Yourpassword** rpcport=15522 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=[[IP of GalaxyCoin 2.0 Daemon]] addnode=[[IP of GalaxyCoin 2.0 Daemon]] addnode=[[IP of GalaxyCoin 2.0 Daemon]] addnode=[[IP of GalaxyCoin 2.0 Daemon]]
Where every addnode in your file is a verified GalaxyCoin 2.0 client that is fully synced. So for right now there is only (unfortunately) my ip of 71.4.209.204 but later in the week there should be others.

KWG is specifically designed against multipools. Yes, this will hurt solo-miners but people who mine a coin on a pool for a small or even NO fee will benefit substantially. The value of this coin went down for quite a while BECAUSE of multipools so it is about time we implement the basics to protect people loyal to the coin.

No problem, be sure not to leave your galaxycoin.conf file as is and read the above posts about it... I waited for a block to come in before that and then did that and saw more blocks come in successfully afterwards as well.

We need more hosts for addnodes for everyone. To host, AFTER you verified you are on the latest fork! You just need this galaxycoin.conf and have port 15521 open to the world listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=**Yourusername** rpcpassword=**Yourpassword** rpcport=15522 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=71.4.209.204
You can also add verified addnodes to your config later.
