you guys think its save to leave your coins at bittrex? whos the owner?
No exchanger is a safe place for your coins. That's why the coins are protected by your pass key , to really own them they need to be in your wallet. Go to our about page and you can read about us ... we are not anonymous and we are easily reachable. https://www.bittrex.com/Home/AboutWe deploy multiple layers of security for our wallets and use a hot/cold wallet infrastructure to protect the funds; I'd like to think it is safe to leave your coins here however; that said, niothor is correct. No online place is safe for your coins. If you have large amounts of currency anywhere you should definitely move it off any exchange. Bittrex is definetly a solid exchange regardless and my experiences have always been positive as well. |
