Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

unless price rises its not even the most profitable coin anymore, so it would make more sense to hold than sell.

This is why I hate coinwarz, "most profitable coin" BS, it would be MORE profitable if miners held back their coins instead of mining and dumping instantly, it would make both them and the buyers more money in the long run.

Usually cryptsy kills rising coins but so far SPA has landed on Mintpal, Polo and Cryptorush without too much mass dumping, I think it should be safe to say we will see some rise for a few days, miners have had plenty of big volume exchanges to dump to. Also the Monday morning day trade crowd who may have been asleep at the wheel this weekend will see coinmarketcap and go nuts wanting in.
